Yesterday I was playing some Gold to level up Adept class a bit, and one pug had both a Reeger AIU and the other an Acolyte Trooper. Came back at wave 9 to see an AIU only wave cleanup, and my dead body not where I left it and dead pugs around it. AIU managed to clean wave with rockets, of course. That's when I was like "These pugs can't do it." So I flexed some level 12 Krogan Shaman pecs and made sure device objective got done. These pugs need to go back to silver and learn how to play for real instead of relying of lame trivialising cheese, but I didn't say that into the mic. And went back to Platinum next where garbage like this isn't as annoying.

After playing platinum recently, I don't really mind playing it too much. Maybe if I host more often, then I'll consider playing it more often. Not to say I don't pug platinum off host just that, sometimes I don't want have to clutch waves on platinum with boss spamming on top of, off host space magic BS like rubber banding and having my shield boost not work like 5 times in a row, which is like another hidden layer of difficulty on top of platinum and the obvious boss spamming shenanigans.

Honestly clutching platinum waves off host is not fun at all. And sometimes I don't think the person being host understands how much power they have with that host advantage :pissedoff:

. Minus the on host phantom DR. Everything works properly for the host at least.

Gold is the most balanced difficulty, IMO. Platinum is all about DPS, while on Gold, you can survive and thrive even with Avenger X on full auto.

Hmmmm I'm not sure tbh, it's been a while since I've used that weapon. I like using Reegar or Geth Plasma shotgun, those are my favourite two. I can't remember which weapons are maxed out, I'll have to check my manifest.

Mostly playing with friends these days, doing gold motto games (all Asari, all Volus...), so it's gold for me.

Gold PUG Lobbys look awful, but what the heck? If they look too weak/unexperienced, i take my trusty Justicar/TSol/SI and off we go.

Platin is still no fun for me, only playing when friends want me to join or i feel very comfortable/drunk and try some PUGs which goes surprisingly well in most cases.
