How are you guys going to use your time? CC? Honestly, I think I'm going to wait till the 19th and maybe play 5 hours then, 5 hours on the 20th then roll into the real thing the 21st. OR I'll just wait till the 21st. Haven't decided... I'll probably just play as default Ryder and rush trough all the main story I can, then spend the rest of the time chatting with companions and if there's anything left, mess around in CC.

So...bad news. I was talking to customer service with EA and they could not guarantee that either the EA Early Access or even the full digital preloaded game will be available to play at midnight on the 16th or the 21st respectively I'm so sad as I was looking forward to playing at midnight. While they could not confirm or deny, I asked about previous EA titles and she said, honestly, they more or less become available mid-day. I might cancel my digital preload and just get a physical copy from Amazon, as it will arrive more or less midday and I get an extra 10% off.

How is the time that is spent over the 10 hours shown (assuming it is)? How has Origin handled these 10 hour trials before? Is there a stopwatch shown somewhere in the game or Origin client? this is what it looks like for the BF1 trial. I expect it'll be the same for MEA: Attachment Deleted

How do people still not realise that all progress carries over to the full game, it literally says it on all the trial material AND on the EA/Origin access material.
Do you people not read or what? If you work full time, you have an hour or two of the campaign each day up until the launch of the game, it's a pretty good deal and means you can hit the ground running on launch day.

I think the best way to handle this is to start playing March 20th.
That way, the 10 hours is like....The game is released a day earlier.

I will be getting it on the 16th and just play with the CC as much as possible. It is great to have a chance to make stuff check it in the main game and go from there without the worry of playing the actual game.

I think that they're just hedging their bets here. The key word there is "guarantee". If they outright guarantee access at 12:01 am, then they'll be swamped under a tsunami of screeching emails, forum posts and refund demands at 12:02. Better to manage expectations in case of some technical issues. Plus, it will take time for the game to DL the final pieces of data, decrypt, and then DL the possibly 2+ gig day one patch. When I got GTA5 on Steam, I was ready to go at 12:00 am (or whenever launch time was). I didn't actually get in-game until an hour and a half after that. The rep you spoke to set the worst case scenario. But if you fire up at midnight, I'll bet you a fictional amount of money (one brazillian dollars, maybe?) that you'll be playing within an hour or two. Edit: Plus, if you use a VPN, you'll be playing a lot sooner than midnight, anyway. I'd grab one for a month. Some even have one week trials.

What i really hope they have built in is a benchmark, more concerned how it will run and handle hdr than anything.

Hey i am not sure if this is already mentioned by i wanted to check something with those on GMT timezone.I have sighed up into early access fort the trial at first i had two separate MEA on origin, one the trial one the preorder. Since the preorder transaction came through last week they two seemed to have merged together and all it says know the preload will be on the evening on the 17th, is it the same with you guys and if so do you guys know if the trial still starts at the 16th?

Odd since this is just digital and a trial and usually doesn't follow the BS of physical copies per region... have other origin access games do the same thing?
