Do we download a whole ME:A game for the early access?
I bought the game not from origin, they said they will send the code after they get it from their supplier. This way, I wouldn't be able to preload the game. I'm thinking to use a month of origin access to get early access and to preload my ME:A.

does anyone know when the trial comes available in Australia and what time? The pre-load starts in 12 hours and 30 minutes. The actual trial is supposed to begin on March 16, so I'd assume at midnight. I don't know whether that's tied to a specific timezone or midnight wherever you live in the world. Do we download a whole ME:A game for the early access? I bought the game not from origin, they said they will send the code after they get it from their supplier. The only reason I believe this is because there's a separate game for the trial in my library and then my deluxe edition is next to it. If anything, the trial is at best a partial download? I'll know for sure on the 17th when pre-loading for the actual game begins. Pre-loading for early access starts later today.

And recently I learn that I will get the key at March 23rd instead of 21st because the store is following the worldwide release, not NA release. I'm still thinking to get origin access for a month only to play this early..

They do massive discounts and have done so for Mass Effect Andromeda as well. Unfortunately, those 3rd party retailers only offer the standard edition, and I wanted the digital deluxe (Origin only). I didn't want to really pay $63 (got $7 off for being an Origin Access member), but I've been waiting for this game for years. I'll splurge just to play it early and with more goodies.

I won't get Origin's preorder bonuses. Anyway, I've asked them via ticket and they said the worldwide release is on March 23rd, so their service-level agreement to deliver the game is on March 23rd (worldwide release), not March 21st (North America release). I guess a month of Origin access it is..

I guess a month of Origin access it is.. That's really surprising. GMG is based in the UK, but I never had an issue getting keys early just to pre-load. MEA must be an unusual case considering the North American launch is two days earlier than the Worldwide launch. You may as well try out the trial if you have the means. You'll find out soon enough whether that's the full download or not. If someone around her did early access for DAI, they'd probably have the answer.

Hold on, do those of you who have pre-ordered and have the trial have EA/Origin Access? I thought the trial was only for subscribers and not for those who preordered The trial is for Origin/EA Access folks. Some of us also pre-ordered the game, which was causing problems and made the free trial disappear since the pre-ordered full game was overwriting it. So if pre-order is canceled Trial will show up again?

So if pre-order is canceled Trial will show up again? This was a bug with Origin that should have been fixed as of yesterday. My free trial and pre-purchased version of MEA are both appearing in my Origin library. If you've already pre-purchased the game and are an Origin Access member, you should check your library to see if it has been updated.

So if pre-order is canceled Trial will show up again? It should be appearing in the libraries of everyone who is eligible for the trial now, regardless of pre-order status. It disappeared for a while but it's been back for a little bit now.

Get Origin Access 2. Open "Origin Access -> Trial versions" and click "Get it" to add game to the library 3. (optional) Pre-order. I've skipped step 2. So there is probably nothing to show up again in library and pre-order doesn't allow to get trial either.

Does the MEA free trial button say "Learn More" while the BF1 free trial says "Get It Now"? I noticed after I claimed the MEA trial that clicking on that button in the "Play First Trials" page now redirects to the store page. If that's the case, I suggest you just wait until pre-loading is available. EA Customer service already suggested that the trial should be available for everybody to place in their library once pre-loading is initiated.

It redirects me to the store page all the time. If it says "Learn More" I suppose you might have to wait till tomorrow for it to say "Get it now"? It used to say "Get it now" the first time then it disappeared from everyone's library who got it then and has simply reappeared for those people again. And now it should say "Learn More" instead of "Get it now"

I'm not sure what retailer you went with, but Green Man Gaming always gets their keys out early for pre-loading games. They do massive discounts and have done so for Mass Effect Andromeda as well. Unfortunately, those 3rd party retailers only offer the standard edition, and I wanted the digital deluxe (Origin only). Anyway, I've asked them via ticket and they said the worldwide release is on March 23rd, so their service-level agreement to deliver the game is on March 23rd (worldwide release), not March 21st (North America release). I guess a month of Origin access it is.. They also confirmed this on twitter. (greenman) I think this is because they are getting the Origin keys from an unspecified 'authorized distributor', not EA directly. (unlike most other publishers; e.g. they get their keys directly from ubisoft; so that might be the reason why they aren't able to get the keys in time for the pre-load.)

I'm signed up for Origin Access, and I just pre-ordered the deluxe edition. My game library now has ME:A listed with a preload date of 3/17. There is no info regarding the play first trial through Origin Access.
