Wasn't sure where to ask this question. But for us in Europe that have preordered on the PS4, does anyone know if it will onlock at 00.00 on the 23 of march? Or later in the day I'm in Europe too but on PC. It says it'll unlock at 12am on the 23rd so it should be the same on PS4, logically.

Or later in the day There isn't any info about that on PSN? Usually a game unlocks at midnight. All i can say for certain is that the PC version launches at midnight, so the others should aswell. I'll try to find out.

Guys, I have a problem with the trial. Was going to wait for the official launch but I gave in last night and got Origin Access to play over the weekend (Romanian over here, so I'd have to wait until the 23rd).
When I click Play, the game starts but all I get is a black window with nothing happening (no sound or visuals). MEA process is present in Task Manager.
I looked online to see how I could fix this but so far I got nothing. - I don't have Corsair Utility Engine - I allowed ActivationUI from the game files on my firewall and antivirus - I disabled my firewall and antivirus - I have the latest AMD graphics drivers - I repaired the game - I reinstalled the game - Alt+Enter doesn't do anything to the window - I found a mention of editing a file you find in Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save folder, but I don't have that folder (only Screenshots and Temp)
I already lost 30 minutes of the trial trying to fix this. At this point I'm on the verge of just cancelling Origin Access and mourning the 4 euro I paid for something that doesn't work.
Can anyone help out with this or is it really a lost cause?

GNNNN! I've 15 minutes left of the trial. Thursday needs to get here fast! One thing I can say is that I cannot play the trial and enjoy the story as much as I'd like, because I always had the countdown clock in my head. But that's my fault and not the game.

Check if your Visual C++ Redistributable is up to date. I couldn't get the game to start initially and it was because of the vcredist executables weren't installed properly and I had to repair them. You can find them in: Program Files (x86) > Origin games > Mass Effect Andromeda > _Installer > vc > vc2013 > redist. Make sure you run both programs and make sure they are installed properly. You should be prompted to restart your computer. After that the game should work hopefully. Best of luck to you.

I just won a free month of ea access watching a twitch stream for Andromeda, on to my 3rd 10 hour trial I've heard some people say they've gotten more time on the trial, but how? Do you use another account to subscribe then switch back to your main and get another ten? I subscribed to EA Access on Xbox then (cheekily) got a full refund when my ten hours was up. Was thinking of using another account to sub and refund again.

Yep, you just need to sign up to ea access with a different account, log in with that account, then switch to the want you want to use while the other is logged in. You can keep on repeating it as much as you like, sign up then cancel and get the refund. The only thing is you may not be able to use the same credit card on separate accounts, I signed up for the first one with my credit card, played the 10 hours and then got the refund. But it has not gone through yet as it is the weekend, so I used paypal that is linked to my bank account for the 2nd time, 3rd time I just used the voucher code.

It sounds like the application is not crashing, but not loading properly either. You could try disabling the in-game Origin interface as well as disable cloud saving to see if that makes a difference. You could also try calling EA Customer Support and they may be able to provide potential fixes. You may also want to check your dxdiag to see if it provides any further insight into why the application isn't loading properly.

Windows 7 64-bit AMD FX-8350 Eight Core, 4 GHz AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (7880 if I recall correctly, I don't have the box on hand) 16 GB RAM DDR3 DirectX 11 I also just updated my AMD drivers because apparently the ones I installed last week weren't actually the newest ones. Still no difference.

Still no difference. Have you tried going into properties for the MEATrial executable and running it in compatibility mode? I'm running the game on Windows 10, so I'm not sure whether or not Windows 7 could be the issue even though it is supported. You could also try running the game as an administrator if you haven't attempted that already. You could also try running the DXSETUP.exe in the _Installer > directx > redist file since your C++ Redistributable was working fine. Your computer exceeds the minimum requirements, so there has to be something minor that's preventing the game from running properly.

Didn't think about trying compatibility mode earlier but it looks like neither that nor running DXSETUP.exe changed anything. I think I'll just cut my losses now and hope that come launch this problem won't be there anymore.

Hopefully, it's just an isolated issue with the trial and it won't carry over into the full release of the game. At the very least, the official release is only a few days away at this point.

The colors you choose for the casual outfit don't actually show up on my character. I hope that changes once the full game is playable? Or is this a known bug?

You have to confirm every colour adjustment by pressing space (or the equivalent if you're using a controller; the same button that confirms stuff in other menu screens) It's not actually mentioned anywhere and many people seem to have trouble with this, BW are aware of the problem tho.

I've been staying away while I played the early access stuff so if this is already answered in the thread I apologize but I do have a question which concerns me.
Having pre-ordered and downloaded the digitial Super Deluxe version some time ago (on Xbox One) I signed up to EA Access to get the trial. As I understood it the devs were originally saying that if you had pre-ordered the Early Access should unlock all the bonus content but none of this content seemed to be there.
Was that everyone else's experience or is there some issue with my pre-order and EA Access not being linked properly or something?

The helmet and nomad skin from the AI website is though but you need to go to the cabin on the Tempest to get them.
