After watching the new trailer and bios on the characters, I really cannot help but shake the feeling that we're getting new versions of ME2 characters. The Archon's voice and delivery are reminiscent of Harbinger, Cora seems to me a knock off Miranda, our new krogan gets introduced with a line reminiscent of one Grunt delivered.
I'll admit that it might be too preliminary to write off the whole cast as ME2 rip offs, but I can't shake the feeling either.

I don't get those vibes at all. Certainly not the Miranda being like Cora, other than they're both biotics and seem to have similar jobs for their respective missions. Cora seems like a much warmer and more open individual than Miranda was, for a start.

Things that jumped out at me, biotic, well trained, second in command, at least some tie to Cerberus, seemingly professional attitude that's a few more similarities than I'm willing to overlook

She warms up considerably once you prove you live up to your reputation and start getting shit done (including rescuing her sister). Cora might start out the same way, given she was apparently in line for the Pathfinder job after DadRyder. Nepotism's a bitch you know?

Half your squadmates in these games are biotic, and everyone is well-trained. That's not much of a coincidence.

It's more about her attitude about US, it's more about her attitude in general, in the briefing, her voice and her posture and soft smile. She is way warmer than Miranda / Cassandra only by her attitude and body language.
