Jaal was also looking a bit nervous when everyone was starring at him on the Tempest during the first meeting. He was looking back and forth and fidgeting.

Yeah he's definitely showing that Angara body language that was lacking before.

Wow... we just had our first chat (no friendship tone used. Going for Reyes first as planned) and yep, Jaal is very emotional now. Very! Finally acting like an Angara should!

HEADCANON TIME!!

1. Stargazing. I SO see them going around Havarl and Aya and just spend hours talking about stars and where what is, do they have constellations like humans do, etc.
2. Jaal the tour guide! He can get so excited about the most surprising things, I imagine that he would just love to show everything to Sara/Scott and explain all about it - not a historical account or anything like that, more a... pop culture short version? Pointing out places that have memories for him, or things he loves about his homeworld, etc.
3. Staring contests. I don't know why. But Jaal would probably win because he keeps throwing in comments like the "I want to devour you! In the best way possible." which would make anyone blink.
4. Painting! I am dying to see the art they mentioned in-game that angara can make with their bioelectricity! That would be an amazing activity, Ryder using "traditional" methods (probably watercolor because that's what I know how to use the most, lol) and Jaal demonstrating how it's done with his skills. It doesn't have to be Rembrant, just... fun together.
5. MUSIC. There is just no way an emotional people like the angara don't have a huge musical culture. I can totally picture Jaal using instruments and singing, but even if not, I would love for them to go to concerts of a sort. This is one thing that I think would be prioritized culturally speaking, music has the power to hearten and touch people emotionally at a deep level, I think the angara would definitely use it even amidst their struggles against the kett. I would also imagine that my Ryder would showcase human music throughout the ages, starting with favorites but including all sorts. (Yeah, I know, I'm imagining a Star Trek space ship that has a huge cultural library casually on hand for aliens to peruse as part of diplomatic exchanges because I was raised on that.)

I will probably have more but I'm dying to drink my first coffee.

It IS perfect, BUT....

1. Repeatable kiss scene, I agree - or something repeatable, I'd go for a hug or snuggle anytime. C'mon, they did a great thing in DA:O with kisses, talks and snuggles, like... why can't we have that again plz.

2. I'd like to see Jaal in the Pathfinder's quarters. I don't know why, but in DA2 it just filled me with fits of giggles when your LI of choice "moved into" Hawke's mansion (especially Anders just... awkwardly standing there at the balcony like he's some trophy on display, hahaha); the fact that your LI is there as a "home base" really felt like we're actually together, I don't mind them roaming around, just as long as he'd put in an appearance.

3. More off-romance topic dialogue. There is soooooo much I want to know about the angara and even if Jaal is no expert, he does have contemporary knowledge of their culture. I want to talk about it!

I'm noticing a lot of my desires were present in DA games, which means DA has ruined me, hahahaha.

hrrm how much smaller are we talking? Is it very noticeable? I was looking at some of the YouTube clips of the scottJaalmance and it looked like Jaals under armour has gone from blue to purple :/

So I think Ryder just had a seizure when looking at the Spender footage. Wow... I did not know eyes could move that fast in someone's head!

That really messed up one is still at Mithrava (sp?) At the sage place. It looks like a female Angara got hit with a shovel and is so sad and kind of scary.

She's not as adorable-looking now. Stop it, Bioware. She's pretty much all I have left.

It's more her eyes than anything. She used to be round and hopeful, but now they are more slanted and cynical.
