If they make a patch 1.10, I can't see them needing to make this couple any more improved, and I do hope they focus on the other romance's animations. They could always actually make the no sex choice mean something other than be a cruel lie. But yeah, they need to start working on the other romances now. |

This is a great point. What Bioware needs to do from now on is to put equal effort into different sex romance and same sex romance when it comes to bi romances. That means that copy paste would not work. And bi romance should not be designed to cater to only a certain gender. Bi Jaal is one good way to do this. Reyes/Scott romance, on the other hand, is not. And Bioware is so adamant on not fixing it with all their excuses. I have a feeling they have too many assets shared with the Reyes romance, and if they tweak one it fucks up the other, and they are clearly are more concerned with the Sara/Reyes animations. It's why they must not do this copy and paste thing anymore in the future! Yeah this is one of the possible reasons a Bioware dev why, despite that they are aware of the bug, they did not fix it. No matter what Ryder I pick they always make the derpiest faces here, but it's a beautiful scene...I also hope I'm not breaking any rules. OMG I am freakin' melting from the hotness (and squealing from the adorableness of both their goofy smiles of love)!!!  Jaal also wins for the best ass ever haha Now I can continue my Sara/Jaal playthrough without checking here daily!  Scott/Jaal is adorable, but I love my Sara/Jaal the most, especially after BW made it even better with the recent patch! They made it BETTER? Again? >.> The completionist in me is dying. What changes did they make now? |

Gay/Bi men totally deserved Jaal. I'm glad we got him too. Straight women deserved a Sara trailer, and they should have got it BEFORE launch, not after. All of those things deserved to be bitched about. I regret nothing! If we don't stand up for ourselves-no one else will-that's for damn sure!

Yeah I just get this nagging feeling he's seen as the thicker skin since a tweet confirmed that Aaryn was doing more for us than we ever knew behind the scenes, and I guess EA didn't like all the fan pandering... that's what worries me. whelp I guess we just have to wait and see if Casey or EA fucks up, then we'll let them know (in a nice way of course). Like I said though, I may not be happy about this at the moment but I'm willing to see if valuable lessons were learned. Time will tell. |

I've decided to try to focus on what is, and not worry as much about what will be. I will continue to express my love for Jaal and the things they got right in Andromeda though for sure. I want the devs to know that Andromeda definitely has fans! I would love a sequel for sure. I'll also never forget the mistakes that were made, and be first to remind them that we need reassurance going forward with future games.
Dead silence about M/M romance in marketing for the next Dragon Age game-would not go well at all. Lets hope that never goes down again.

Oh I am sure the games will be great, but when it comes to what we as fans ask, it might not be easily given anymore. MEA is a treasure, and though it will likely continue, I feel like POTC: Curse of the Black Pearl, it's a standalone and any sequel will never feel like a direct sequel. I feel like this can be a double edged sword, because although I think Andromeda is a pretty solid game and very fun, a lot of fan feedback is what helped it improve. keep in mind I'm not talking about trolls but the constructive criticism from fans. Lol and then we have fans that whine about women's haircuts over and over again... I just hope they realize the love for Andromeda and don't forget about it like it never existed. I don't want it scrubbed from memory or rebooted, so It's always good to let them know it's loved. |

While I am not sure how to feel about Aaryn leaving and Casey joining, I hope that Casey learns from the mistakes in the past and continues to improve on the Bioware formula which is unique to say the least. I also hope that he (and other devs) will tone down queer baiting and quit all the homophobic rhetorics (said long time ago, to be fair). I still remember ME:A marketing and its queer baiting, and I do wish not to experience that again. Yikes, that's just as dumb, it would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
