While I am not sure how to feel about Aaryn leaving and Casey joining, I hope that Casey learns from the mistakes in the past and continues to improve on the Bioware formula which is unique to say the least. I also hope that he (and other devs) will tone down queer baiting and quit all the homophobic rhetorics (said long time ago, to be fair). I still remember ME:A marketing and its queer baiting, and I do wish not to experience that again. Not enough facepalms in the world. That's why we have to stand up against such things. Let me join you in facepalming that!  yeah, I think that's all we can do is hope he has grown as a person and learned something from his mistakes with the past homophobic statements and his problematic ending. I really want that to be the case for sure. I also want some dlc for Andromeda and a sequel! I don't care how unlikely it is-I still hope for it.  |

Gay/Bi men totally deserved Jaal. I'm glad we got him too. Straight women deserved a Sara trailer, and they should have got it BEFORE launch, not after. All of those things deserved to be bitched about. I regret nothing! If we don't stand up for ourselves-no one else will-that's for damn sure! I am convinced that if #MakeJaalBi had not been a thing, we would have not gotten his romance. I say it is worth the effort, though I prefer equal romance at launch! And some day I hope to see m/m romance in a launch trailer of Bioware games. Some day!  |

I feel like this can be a double edged sword, because although I think Andromeda is a pretty solid game and very fun, a lot of fan feedback is what helped it improve. keep in mind I'm not talking about trolls but the constructive criticism from fans. Lol and then we have fans that wine about women's haircuts over and over again... lol I just hope they realize the love for Andromeda and don't forget about it like it never existed. I don't want it scrubbed from memory or rebooted, so It's always good to let them know it's loved. It can be, yes. Many of the things we wanted and were given improved the game despite it just being minor patching and no actual DLC, but things like default Sara? Yeah... let's not "improve" that again. That stuff was not important. I feel though that MEA was basically DA in space, and I wonder if they will continue with that. Modern Elves = Angara Deep Roads = Vaults Darkspawn - Kett Ancient Elves = Jardaan The Jardaan and Jheln could be like Mages and Templars There is a lot of potential still. If you also mean the open world aspect then yes I hope they do. I know it's not that popular but I love it for some reason. As for the other connections, that's pretty interesting to say the least. Also I'm pure elf trash and Angara trash now...coincidence? maybe.  |

They really should have had a Sarah trailer and have her be with a female love interest, in honor of Ryder's namesake Sally Ride. I think it's because Cora, PeeBee and Jaal were the main romances, and Scott got Cora and Peebee, so Sara was stuck with Jaal. Sara/PeeBee might have had people complain about too much Asari, and Vetra and Suvi lacked content for it to be promoted. I disagree about Vetra or Suvi not having enough content. After all DAI's poster romance was Josephine. Of course the ME team does like to only promote sexual romances. |

Onecrazymonkey1 thanks for the chat last night! Feeling less lonely and that new forum I told you about? We are all speculating TLJ and having so much fun! We're all Kylo Ren fangirls lol and they flipped when I told them I met Adam once! Putting MEA on hiatus until the Fall. If no DLC, then I'm starting a new game and completing everything! How are you? I love Kylo but I do have a natural tendency to be pulled over to the dark side, with some exceptions of course. I'm still trying to complete my 100% Sara and Scott play through in preparation for DLC that I hope is still on the table but I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried. I really love the Mass effect franchise and that includes Andromeda. When I'm not playing Andromeda I'm playing gwent and probably will be for a long while if no DLC comes out, at least until pillars of eternity 2, DA4 or cyberpunk 2077 release. Pathfinder:kingmaker is also looking pretty interesting to me, so I'm keeping my eyes on it for now. Of course I actually have very little time to play because like I said before, when I'm not working I'm helping to take care of my grandmother who has dementia and that can wear me down. But such is life. |

Well hopefully he will be redeemable, it will be pretty sad for Leia otherwise no? I also love Evfra but at this point I think you can throw any Angara in my face and I'd be happy. I'm glad you're enjoying your new life experiences, I need to make a few changes in my own life for the better. I thought I would take a break as well but I've found when I'm feeling really down, the forums can help me quite a bit, so it's hard to leave. Also you don't have to thank me, if you're feeling down and want to talk, I'll listen. I know what it's like to suffer from depression and it's not pretty. Oh it's going that route for Kylo! Haha I know right? Just his codex entry really hit me. Yeah I had to remove the chains holding me down you could say. It won't cure my depression or sadness, but it eases it, so my worst days are better now. I know lol it's just you're the only one who seems to understand and I'm just grateful you didn't push me away when I lost it. Losing loved ones and friends all in one year has been painful for me. Ha that's good if true, I was suspecting that he might be redeemable myself but I'm pretty horrible at speculating anything.  I can't ever judge anyone, throughout my life I've made a ton of mistakes after all. I just have to remind myself that it's important to learn from them and hope that I do. I am glad that some of your worst days are over, stay strong and clear right?  |
