It's just the way it sits on his face it's not his fault. Although, that does raise a question or two.
The way it sits on his ear(?) tentacle must be pretty uncomfortable, but still pretty Sir worthy.  

I'm a bit curious; has anyone put up a thread creating Bioware memes for MEA like they did with DAI?
That got me through quite a few months waiting for it's release and it came up with some funny responses.

Well, he does have some piercings on his left head...brow...thing, and where piercings are tattoos are usually not far.

Could also just be something to attach headgear to his head, like on the other side. Or perhaps some kind of interface for implants, who knows.

Exactly. It's all I can do not to spoil myself silly by watching youtube scenes of what the romances will be before I decide which one I'm going to follow for my first playthrough. I love the surprise of stumbling on the scenes in game, but I want to know which romances are awesome SO bad...it's a fine line of control. I'd never make it through an entire playthrough avoiding all romance. 

In DAI, I loved how you could sometimes choose the flirt option, and end up having these surprisingly awesome friendship conversations with Cassandra. I tend to flirt with everyone until I know what I want to do. (Plus, sometimes Bioware warns us which romance will end tragically, ala Solas apologizing and saying it's a bad idea.)
