I wonder if they have claws too! Not to keep harping on the cat thing, but an alien race with retractable claws would be pretty dope.

I was just thinking of it as an in-universe thing. Not applying real-world ideas and such to it. 

I see what your saying though. I think we've discussed the topic long enough though. I'm bailing out anyway as this is a topic that could get dicey. 

All I was saying is sex appeal is not a bad thing. Hopefully if they're going to have strippers again, they have male strippers as well so people don't feel like it was just made for straight males to leer at. I want to have some eye candy too. I'm sure others feel the same. 

I try and play my characters as gay as possible. If a game gives me an option to flirt with a same sex character then I will, as long as it doesn't break my chosen romance. So when I play Mass Effect I always make my FemShep look at the asari dancers. I don't mind them too of course but its like.... my FemShep likes human females and asari.. so that is the kind of thing she would look at so I make sure to take her there.

I would love Andromeda to have male ones. It's not something I personally want to see... but my male Ryder will. So I need some for him to look at

I think it's totally cool when theirs not a sexual connotation to it. It's just people who feel a connection to animals and like to dress up and have fun with their friends. That's great !

I just can't deal with the sexual side of the furry community. Too much for me.

Like I said, theirs nothing wrong with it. I'm sure most of them are lovely people who would never harm a real animal. It's just....yeah, not for me.

I could always carry it on as a ficlet....

10th Page Summary!

Whew! 20 page update this time, since I wasn't around for 230. Mostly off topic stuff, and little actual news...  But here goes!

1. More discussion on the Angaran home planet. Is it really that one I linked before? Is that picture of Kadara? ARE THE PLANTS BIOTIC!? (Probably not, but speculation is fun.  )
2. Valentine's day hopes were dashed... (not that we really expected any new romance info, but it would've been nice. Instead we got... banging jokes, a Valentine's day card with Cora and Scott (insert annoyed face here), and confirmation that we would not know all the romance options in advance. BOO.).
3. Some talk about Pillars of Eternity.
4. Some discussion on Jaal's dapper-ness.
5. Some friendly console vs. PC chatter.
6. Is there a connection between our father and TIM!? Or were they just in the same place at the same time...? Hmm...
7. How will our first meeting with Jaal go? Where we captured? Did we come out of out of our ship alone willingly? What might the Anagara know of us 'hoomans' by the time we arrive?
8. Apparently there's lots of Finnish people here! And people from other countries. Which sparked some discussion on languages both Earthly and alien, and how we'd love to hear the languages of our trilogy species old and new.
9. Asari bewbs. Okay, Asari as hot blue space babes, but boobs is how it started. We also talked about the Drell for a bit, and the attractiveness of alien races, Angara included.
10. And another respectful discussion on furries.

And in other MEA news (none of it from Valentine's Day *insert second annoyed face*):

Today the press got to play MEA for the first time, so we can expect some articles and perhaps more marketing for us as well soon (like, actually soon, not Soon^TM)!
And a VA video was released, featuring Kumail Nanjiani, for a character who remains as yet un-named and un-shown. Thread here.

Also, I was a smidgen late and had to delete one of my own posts to get this on the correct page, so you're welcome. 

See, I know all that but I still just see them as cute animals, I can't see anything sexual about it at all. 

Of course I'm sure the majority of the community are awesome people, and we all like what we like, and it's not always a sexual thing. But that's the side that seems to be most predominately displayed unless your actually a part of the community. I think that's unfortunate, because like I said, I bet they're a wonderful community. But people mostly just see the sexual side and if you're not into it it seems weird.

If you're not harming another living thing. Then you should just be yourself, whatever being yourself means to you. Regardless of what others think. 

Sorry if it seemed like I held ill will towards furry's or anything. It's not that at all, I'm just not into it myself. 

I'm excited as well!  I'm just hoping and wishing that the CC has some decent hair options!
