I adore Jon Curry as Zevran and he reminded me a lot of him. I just love that sort of accent! Still trying to figure out what the Angara will sound like. I didn't hear much of an accent from the lady in the trailer, but there seems to be a British-like or refined tone when she spoke.

I am beginning to suspect that they will leave him for the very last minute just to torture us.
Although I am curious to see how his VA will portray him.

I really hope not either. I kind of like the idea that the Kett are like the way of the future and the Angara are living in the past.

SAM is British, this voice was more like Javik's. And we heard a lot of SAM in the gameplay trailer.

Blehh. He, or rather It, as the devs call SAM, sounds rather boring. I don't think we're seeing another EDI 2.0.

It it recent, but I don't think they consider it info. All the times before when we got trailers and such they hyped it up way more than this. I think it's just a fun little side thing they're doing to promote the game.

And to be fair, we don't know enough about the Angara to know if they bow down to anyone or not. Some do join Sloane Kelley's outfit where she's playing at warlord after all - though I suppose they could just be there to trade or as diplomats or whatnot. It could be they are subservient to the Kett for whatever reason but, as some have guessed, maybe not all the Angara are exactly okay with that, and they see us newbies as their potential ticket out from under their thumb. Or, the Kett were the 'primitives' (I sort of get that impression with the organic weaponry and bone armor), but now the Archon is rushing them into a new tech age with the help of whatever is on those Remnant vaults, upsetting the balance in the Helius cluster (a recent article suggests there's several sentient species in MEA beyond the two we've seen - even if they don't have a Council or something similar, I imagine they have some sort of understanding).

I also wonder if the peaceful Angara might not have some dark thing in their past, where they weren't always as we know them now. Perhaps the hostility between the Kett and Angara originate from something the Angara did in their history. But they don't actually tell us that. Even Jaal keeps it from us until later on in the game after we've earned his friendship.

fialka Here's one for ya! The Angara are guarding the vault on their homeworld and we have to convince them to let us enter it, so Jaal comes with us. Thanks to SAM they find out what they have had all this time and join us against the Kett that follow The Archon!

So I was watching that 4k vid in 4k and yikes! Ugly Angara is ugly! Glad that was not the finished results!
