Have you guys thought of who to take as squadmates? I usually change around a bit, though I have my preferences. I always have my LI in the team too. At the moment I think Jaal and Vetra are going to be my go to squaddies, but Peebee and even Cora might be nice picks too. I'm not really thinking of classes with these. Knowing me I'll have Jaal with me everywhere and Vetra. But I definitely will mix up the group a bit. I'm looking forward having Liam in my team, too. As for my Ryder's "classes", I'm thinking of make the twins both biotics but have different other skills too. I'm not sure yet what they'll have individually until we find out, hopefully in today's video  |

I finally realized what MEA is reminding me of, but I never thought to compare it because it's an online game. SWTOR. I wonder how many from Austin are on this project? I know one of them worked on Jaal.

I think I'll have other twin as pure biotic this time. I did start my vanguard as adept in ME1, but changed her to ME2 and ME3. I didn't even try Sentinel at all so that might be faith of my other twin. I just need to know first how Jaal's and Vetra's kit are going to compliment those (if they are available LIs for them)- or maybe I'll just play with casual without caring on classes.

My Ryders are both going to be biotics for story reasons, but my bro!Ryder is going to be much weaker at biotics than sis!Ryder. Thanks to the new combat system I can actually rp this where bro!Ryder primarily used a Sniper Rifle and Tech but has the occasional biotic Shield. As for my Sis!Ryder I'm probably going to go more Vanguard/Biotic hand to hand but I kind of want to throw a sword in if the melee weapon thing is true.
As for Jaal I probably won't be taking him along with my Bro!Ryder because they're both snipers but I'll definitely be taking him along with my Sis!Ryder.

My first Shepard was a soldiar. the maleShep was a sniper. The last Shepard I played for my completionist run, my canon ride, was a biotic. I liked that class, but I have to admit it was a little too light in defence. I'm not a skilled player, at least in shooters. I hope there are some good news on the melee combat :3

I'm really hoping Jaal is not a biotic because I want my canon Ryder to be an Adept, my canon Shepard is a Soldier, because his husband is a friggin space mage! now its my turn to be the wizard XD
As all of you, my LI is a permanent member in the team, then my bffs who will be rotating with other characters. In ME1 was Kaidan and Liara most of the time, then ME2 with Garrus and Miranda, and finally ME3 with Kaidan and Liara again. I wonder which character will be my bff this time :3 Vetra is promising.

I will likely play as an Infiltrator on my first playthrough because I loooove sniping. It was probably the reason why I managed to get through ME1 when I first played it as I'm not a big fan of shooter games in general, but there's just something about sniping that I like. Maybe because it's slower-paced and requires more accuracy than "regular" shooting. I'm currently on my second playthrough of the original trilogy and I'm playing as Vanguard, but I miss my sniper rifle.  So that's what I'm going for in Andromeda. Too bad it looks like Jaal will also be a sniper, but I don't care, I'm going to take him with me on every mission regardless! I took Garrus with me most of the time in the original trilogy and did just fine with two long-ranged characters.  |

10th Page Update! (now with actual news! ) Wow guys, this is my second one today! So first off, a general news update: Nakmor Drack's bio has been released. And, they'll be releasing a video tomorrow on weapons and skills!!! It'll be the first in a series of videos focusing on gameplay:
Topics of discussion in the last 10 pages include: 1. PC specs, and what they might be... a more recent tweet suggests we should get that info in the next couple weeks! 2. Why comparing new characters to old ones is silly (basically people are upset that Jaal is supposed to be the 'new Garrus'. Despite the writers expressly telling us this isn't the case.) 3. Some discussion about Drack, because his bio dropped. 4. If Drack is a soldier, what will Jaal's combat class be? We know he's a sniper, but will he also have tech abilities, or biotic ones? Or some sort of space magic unique to the Angara/Andromeda? 5. Our feelings about the video tomorrow, and the kind of info we'd like before launch. 6. And feainn just embarassed herself by accidentally asking Mike Gamble of we're going to see Jaal handling his penis soon. (Apparently a 'wink wonk' is a penis? Torn between Infiltrator and Vanguard. I lean more to Infiltrator though because I love sniping people! And I always favored a rogue in DA and a thief in TES for the archery skills.

Every time people talk about classes I sit here and realize I didn't retain any of the class info from playing the trilogy.
I think to myself, maybe I should go look up these things so I can contribute to and understand these conversations... so tired. ;a;
I'll play whatever lets me slashy and stabby. And I'll probably be bringing Vetra and Jaal everywhere. MY BIASES.
