Hi everyone;; I've been lurking around in this thread for awhile and I finally decided to make an account! Warning: this is kind of long With the three female characters we know are going to be LI's I am starting to get kind of concerned about Jaal? Peebee might be bi (she's an asari, but they did say she doesn't like social norms), Cora (she probably isn't bi but you never know), and now Vetra (we don't know what she is yet but a lot of people want to romance her as Sara). Jaal may just end up being male only, which is great for people who want to romance him as Scott  , but I am kind of hoping to romance him as Sara (if he is a LI). I know it's stupid but I just wanted to put that out there. I wouldn't be concerned with Jaal being gay. It's not gonna happen. He'll be bi or straight.
Trust me, I've been playing bioware games since Baldurs gate, m/m romances have only just now stopped being relegated to a side thing in the last few games. We won't be getting such an important character story-wise just for us. Everyone deserves a character they like and can identify with though  the fact that this is even a topic that is debated is stupid, my comment was stupid, but I'd be surprised if they didn't make him at least bi considering he is a new species. |

I'm Japanese. By default there's a 98% chance one of my comments will be a weird anime reference  Speaking of anime, I feverently believe Jaal's anime equivalent is Sakamoto the Swagmaster.  I can totally imagine Jaal as the Megane if he was in an anime. |

I thought she was really pretty?). |

Oh excuse me as I wipe this single tear from my cheek for all the sad straight boys lol Oh, I just read all your Solas/Lavellan fics by the way. It was good stuff. Oh wow.... THANK YOU!!!! I am honored that you read them! And so happy you enjoyed them ^^ Alin Lavellan, the MC from "Lover Lay Down" was basically like my (head)canon Inquisitor. He has a special place in my heart. I think now, looking back, the story is very melodramatic, but it helped me get through a dark time in my life. |

Your comment isn't stupid I think Jaal's chances of being available to Sara are about 98% lol I don't think they'd joke about a "dapper" romance option with a hot ass if he were gay, I honestly don't. I guess I don't have that much faith in the modern video gaming industry, even in BioWare. I think there's about a 68% he's bi, ONLY because I fully believe Liam is straight (for the same reasons - I just don't enough faith in the industry that they'd make a starting male character bi). There's a cynical side of me that thinks there's a decent chance both Liam and Jaal are straight because, same reasoning. Could this be behind the refusal to reveal sexuality? Who knows. I am 99% sure the "gay option" will not be a squad member. Lesbian option has a higher chance but not much higher. I hope I'm totally proven wrong and this new-ish team of writers comes out strong! |

B-) No idea who's leak that was about Vetra sadly, but it also said Jaal was bi and so did that guy who told us the leak, so I'm 75% maybe 80% positive male players will most likely get to romance him. I will not say 90% or 100% because they keep making changes. |

Gives Crim huggles. Ceoldoren, I so, so much want Liam to be bi, especially after seeing him in the video. He just looked so badass! Sadly, I'm thinking he's gonna be straight.  Yeeeeeessss! That video was absolutely, deliciously, amazing!!!! I squeed like a little girl several times (vanguard ) while it played. The environments are just gorgeous, and I fell in love with the squad mate icons. After seeing this, I'm excited to see more videos. Can't wait!!!  I've decided Bioware needs to make lapel pins of all our squad mates icons! This way, we can have them all wherever we go!!! |

Like I said if that leak is true it may still leave Dr. Lexi as the kind of romance I want since that leak said the lesbian option was a human female. I think the one person just put Dr. Lexi there not realizing she is an asari. And that leak may not include all options, since it doesn't have the ones off the ship unless the gay and lesbian LIs are that, so maybe Kallo and Lexi weren't included. If they aren't non-sexual romances, then once again the Mass Effect team has scraped me off to the side to have the scraps of romances. |
