Well with Vetra confirmed as a LI, that seems to suggest/confirm Drack ISN'T a LI, as I still seriously doubt ALL squadmates are romanceable.

And I think its best if most of the bi options are squadmates, as they are easily the most popular romances.

I think Peebee, Vetra and Jaal will be bi, and Liam and Cora both straight *sigh*

I don't really like it if all the aliens are/can be bi, but the human squaddies have to be straight it looks like either way people are going to be disappointed. I still feel like despite all the criticisms DA2's approach got, having everyone be bi would be the easiest option and one where everyone would get what they want.

Also Jaal is a squadmate. Don't know what else people need before they start believing it. We were told we would get an Andromedan squadmate, and from the minute Jaal's toy was announced and his placement and the camera angle in the cinematic trailer was all I needed as confirmation. Everything else up to now has all been in support of and in confirmation of Jaal's status as a squadmate.

I actually like Jaal being kind of an open secret. You know he's a squadmate but you don't know much else. It makes me more eager to play it.

And I seriously hope some more male LIs get confirmed soon.

At the moment, again, it seems that straight male players and lesbian players have got/are going to get the best and or more options, thus the straight male gaze being catered to most strongly again

Has anyone tried asking the devs when we'll get a bio for Jaal? They could at least maaybe give us a date or a week? I'd ask myself but alas I don't have a twitter (if you ask them don't forget to mention that "soon" and "before the game comes out" are not valid responses lmao)

I was just wondering this myself. We don't know much about the Roekaar, aside from them killing some krogan, which doesn't necessarily put this faction in the "evil" category since the krogan have a tendency to be dicks. Maybe we follow the trail to the Roekaar base?

Jaal not being a romance would make no sense at all!

Let's see:

Out of 6 squadmates in ME1 we had Kaidan, Ash and Liara (bi) as romances

Out of 12 squadmates in ME2 we had Jacob, Miranda, Garrus, Jack, Tali, Thane

Out of 7 squadmates in ME3 we had Kaidan (bi)/Ash, Liara (bi), Garrus, Tali

MEA has 6 squadmates so Cora, Liam, PeeBee (bi), Vetra (bi) and Jaal (bi)

If the bi rumors about them are true, I can easily see 5 of them as romances, and they did say we would have more in this game.
