Looks more like a planned accident to me they revealed Jaal early. There was no real need to put his icon for 0.5 seconds in the trailer and they know people analyse them frame by frame. They are just teasing.

I actually expect to see him in the upcoming trailers at this rate.

Foelhe haha I know! The "who are you fooling" is a joke between us and them! We all know what they did, yet we all pretend otherwise. It's all in good fun!

I actually like Jaal being kind of an open secret. You know he's a squadmate but you don't know much else. It makes me more eager to play it.

Really? I don't remember this! My bad   I only remember female Shepard in the cinematic trailer with Ashley, but at the time I had limited internet, so I may not have seen it.
Strange, because it was one of the very fisrt steps from BioWare to make "public" that theyr game had a chance for a female protagonist, so I would have loved it! (plus Garrus  )

I absolutely loved Mordins words of caution regarding romancing aliens.  I adored Mordin.  Especially on my play through when I was faithful to Kaidan and he thought you were into him.  I hated the choice you had to make between him and Wrex in ME3. 

I will laugh so hard if they repeat that gag with the new doctor. Mordin's birds and the bees talk caught me completely off guard the first time, it was hilarious. Question is, what would Dr. Lexi warn Ryder about regarding Angarran sex? Think she'll ask them to take notes for science? LOL.

Oh that's right! I forgot we show up late! Ryder won't get bragging rights then...

First contact probably happened months ago

Hmm. We were fighting the Roekaar in the trailer, how would that work? Maybe we make some kind of deal? If there are multiple rogue factions though I could see him being the leader of one of those maybe. I wonder what made him join a rogue faction, though. He doesn't agree with his government? He was wronged by them (something to do with the scar)? Interesting..

Well with Vetra confirmed as a LI, that seems to suggest/confirm Drack ISN'T a LI, as I still seriously doubt ALL squadmates are romanceable.

And I think its best if most of the bi options are squadmates, as they are easily the most popular romances.

I think Peebee, Vetra and Jaal will be bi, and Liam and Cora both straight *sigh*

I don't really like it if all the aliens are/can be bi, but the human squaddies have to be straight it looks like either way people are going to be disappointed. I still feel like despite all the criticisms DA2's approach got, having everyone be bi would be the easiest option and one where everyone would get what they want.

Also Jaal is a squadmate. Don't know what else people need before they start believing it. We were told we would get an Andromedan squadmate, and from the minute Jaal's toy was announced and his placement and the camera angle in the cinematic trailer was all I needed as confirmation. Everything else up to now has all been in support of and in confirmation of Jaal's status as a squadmate.
