Jaal time! His feet aren't actually like this but I still think it'd be adorable if they had toe beans like cats. By kataasgaard

The worst part is, he basically felt Shep would never look at him that way and gave up on anything happening, so when Shep finally did look at him, his heart was taken. His "heart." Sure. LOL Haha sexy body or not, they already started to act like a couple in ME2, so something had already been planted between them sadly. Rynnju cuteness!! And yes, he reminds me so much of Vincent now lol

I know this is probably reading too much into this. I'm kind of curious, and a bit worried for Turian or Salarian romance with, humans (Yes I romanced Garrus). It was said in ME2, if you talk to the groundskeeper on the presideum(?), that if a turian or salarian drinks water with human bacteria in it. They could die. Well, the human mouth is filled with bacteria, even if you brush. And even body fluids... like blood, has bacteria in it. Good and bad, but still...

I wanted it, but I stopped being salty about it not happening after ME2. I just knew it wasn't happening. So I stopped caring. Since I played the trilogy backward (3 first, then 1 and 2) I knew it would never happen. First time i played 3 I thought Joker and EDI were weird (a little too "Weird Science" for me, especially with the super sexy sexbot portrayal of EDI) but I was like, okay whatever. But playing through the whole trilogy and seeing that bond between Shep and Joker, how it's really the one thread that remains unbroken... it's weird they never thought to make that a romance. ME 1 was actually my first foray into bioware games when it came out. 10 years ago now, that's crazy. I went back after I beat it starting with Baldurs Gate, then BG 2, then NW, on and on. It was summer break and I was 15. I had nothing better to do. I played every game they've ever made up to ME1 back to back in like 4 weeks. And thus I was a lifelong fan.

It's pecks on his solid mouth, like kissing a bird's beak. A Salarian would probably not kiss on the mouth, and most likely hug, hold hands or maybe allow a cheek kiss. Now Thane was red-blooded and matched humans so mouth kisses were fine, but his toxins could make it a literal trip or rash you up. Angara also have red blood and can do anything with a human, so I do wonder if there will be any cautions with Jaal.

I'd say Vetra romance is confirmed! Just not for who. Why. WHY do they think that is an okay answer??? "You know how in real life you never know if someone you crush madly on you returns your feelings? EXPERIENCE THAT EXQUISITE PAIN IN A GAME!!! YAY!" Yay... High School all over again. I knew I loved you, Bioware.

They can eat and drink what we can. Only Turians and Quarians are in trouble if they eat or drink our stuff, and likewise all non-destro races have to be wary of eating or drinking Turian/Quarian stuff. That's why personally I think Garrus and especially Tali should have been non-sexual romances, but apparently the power of boners is stronger.

I still doubt a Salarian would ever go beyond a pre-teen type of romance. I could see shy kisses on the cheek, brushes of fingertips and snuggles, but nothing sexual obviously. But heck I still swear when you turn Mordin down he looked disappointed lol Well when we kiss Garrus, there is no tongue. It's pecks on his solid mouth, like kissing a bird's beak. A Salarian would probably not kiss on the mouth, and most likely hug, hold hands or maybe a allow a cheek kiss. But I notice this sort of lore stuff gets hand waved where romance is concerned. I mean, Tali is a prime example. She becomes immune to sexing Sheploo after a couple times.... despite the fact that it would take the Quarian people centuries to become adjusted to a new homeworld. Now, I would love a male Quarian romance at some point, but I'd almost prefer there not being traditional sex in such a relationship. I just hope that with Jaal they make the Angara compatible. Even if it's unrealistic, I'd prefer it to them making some big deal over how biologically different we are only to have that conveniently forgotten, because banging. Especially since we know he has a sex scene.

Touché... Wait, Thane had toxins? Something like that. Like reptiles have. Mordin said you could hallucinate or rash up with him. Their skin is apparently infused with a venom mild enough to be served in drinks, and may cause mild hallucinations on "oral contact" From the wiki

It's not a huge deal to me one way or another... but since I'm a lore nerd, if the game tells me I could get sick from sharing the same drinking glass with an alien, all I can think of while watching a sex scene is 'I hope they've got an epi-pen ready, just in case...'

I do wonder if they will bring back the Mordin talk just for nostalgia and to make learning about the Angara more interesting. We already joked about Lexi having to explain it lol

With Thane, I just headcanon that there is a pill Shep can take to counteract the affects. And there is a special allergy pill to help with the whole Turian incompatibility thing. Mordin is a genius!

I think it's more of a stretch that it would be super dangerous than the other way around. I'm not complaining about their lore choices though.
On the color of blood comment, that really doesn't mean much. There are even species on Earth that use copper instead of iron, and have blueish blood. That does not make eating say shrimp dangerous. I'm not trying to rain on the parade or anything like that of course.

For the Dextro/Levo differences I actually read a post that stated that the consumption of the opposing protein wouldn't actually harm the individual and would more commonly just pass through the system undigested. The OP theorized that the whole "Turians get sick from Human food" can actually be hand waved away as a serious allergic reaction from one/ a few Turians that got radicalized/popularized and is basically an urban myth thought to be fact at this point. So *most* Dextro races *can* eat our food it just wouldn't benefit them in anyway nutrition wise, and they *might* be allergic.

And... what was it Jenkins Jaalkins said? Oh, yeah. 'JAAL HAS A LOYALTY MISSION.' In all-caps, just like that. They suck at secrets.

Not surprised the Andromedan's the last team member to be released. I'm also not sure why we're talking about the Funko toys like they caught BioWare's marketing by surprise. Funko released them about an hour after BioWare released the squad preview. Really doubt that was a coincidence.

Still, they could've just kept quiet about him anyway, and let the fans speculate (as they will), but... it's like they just couldn't help themselves! Which I love, because if they're this eager to talk about him before they're officially supposed to, it means he's probably pretty damn awesome.
