Alright guys. Can we at least have him officially revealed before we go down this particular rabbit hole.

@ladyconsular I know, a lot of people disliked Belsavis and Balmorra, but I've liked both of them. My dislike was reserved for Hoth, Tattoine and Alderaan. Hoth and Tattoine because of landscape, Alderaan - because of its people...

And, yes, I agree that Angaran is basically made in the same mold that mythological creatures were cast. Take a part of this & a part of that, and see what happens... We don't see much fauna in BioWARE games, so I doubt we'll see it on Angaran home world either, unless there is a quaint historical reference to the beasts of burden or gambling that involved animals, or pets...

It could be because they are out of context of their natural habitat, and they look more anime when referenced to the Council races and humans. The humans as a whole are starting to look more realistic, while the aliens - more anime. Thane did not look 'real' either, but he was a very slim human with distinctively lizard features, and movement patterns that did remind of the fast reptilian. Cathars are in the same way consistent with feline streak, but Angarans are a pretty patchwork. Maybe... I am not sure. Overall I like bioWARE's art more than openly anime-styled games, but I would preferred them to probably take a leap and a beating, and go closer to Cathars in that they are faithful to the animal prototype. I dunno, I want to see how they will look in the landscape in the game, and if they have a society structure that is unique to Andromeda, and the relationship with kett and the Remnants... etc, etc.

Lagging on Belsavis was very common, but it was not because of the world, they could fix it and break it at will. I've been to Belsavis during lag, and yes, it is not terribly fun. Varactyls though, mmgh. I miss my varactyl and my pet thranta!

Particularly the older cathar models, rather than the playable Cathars...

I would like a multi gendered (3 or more) species too.

B/v lets face it, for the first two games, every race besides humans was mono gendered...

I don't get why some people compare them to squids or other aquatic animals, either . The nose/eye section of the head has a strong resemblance to cats and the ears/lekku/whatever remind me of cobras. As for the rest... no idea where Bioware borrowed the bodyparts from, but there were certainly no fish involved.

Oof that last part reminds me of Anders. I don't need that again. 

I was thinking about Zenith I never got to romance, but boy, Anders must have changed since DA:Awakening, because he was just a scared kid there that kept running away from Templars. I should check out DA2, maybe, though he is a human....

Yes I can say it was definitely spicey. Especially if you romance him with a negative approval rating. They changed his VA though and I'll never forgive them. 

I dunno I think it'd be fun if he wasn't quite so honourable. Not really had so much of a bad boy LI in ME yet >:3c
