Idk about the people speculating on the jaal-trap meaning idea but my post about "what does being called jaal mean for the person" was totally facetious. The content was pasted off one of those bullshit name meanings sites (not the "in ancient French Solas means [literal ancient origin/meaning of the name linguistically speaking]" kind but one of those bullshit astrology/numerology kinds like "being called Solas means you have a happy personality and an imbalance in your body fluids"). Lol Should have went with this excuse. Always worked when you used it on me at the end of Trespasser.  |

Oooooo, I like that quote! I hope Jaal is the honorable type. I'm going to ignore the posts regarding his name's meaning; I want to keep a fresh mind for the game. I dunno I think it'd be fun if he wasn't quite so honourable. Not really had so much of a bad boy LI in ME yet >:3c BioWare bad boys love proving how bad they are by selling the female pc out though. if they can do dark in a different shade, I am not opposed. If not Zenith, I'd pick Sten as a mysterious and laconic man with good dialogues. I would not mind a modernized nobleman type if Angorans are pictured in the space feodalism vein, but without the quaint speech forms, poetry/singing and the like. He can be a sculptor.,. Yeah, I wouldn't mind him having a quiet manly man hobby like that, carving space marble... |

I would like a multi gendered (3 or more) species too. B/v lets face it, for the first two games, every race besides humans was mono gendered...  Quarians had males in ME2. The problems with three sexes is that you gotta create a world where this is the way it is. I remember Star Treck had a 3-gendered episode, but it was a short morality tale, and never really did much of background work in terms of the world and the sentient species with this mechanism of reproduction, etc. Oh gosh, how could I have forgotten Kal and Veetor? O.O And Zaal'Koris and stinky Han'Gerrel. You are right, at least the Quarians got their second gender in ME2. I would expect them to do it the 'right' way. Meaning lots of background, explanations, lore and all that. And not just the multi gendered as an extra on top but an integral part of the species culture and biology. One can hope I guess?  |

Garrus was "an all around turian bad boy" While I hope Jaal makes me smile and giggle now and then I am not so set on any specific type of character for him. But, if (big if) he is a romance, I really hope they made him a slowmance... Hidden glances and all that shit. Gosh I want some real nice build up. And then finally, romance scene! BAM FEELZ EVERWHERE! I'd like if he was pretty heavily guarded at first and gaining his friendship/love is about slowly pushing past those barriers. They a short bonding or a long bonding species? Mono? Poly? How do they view interspecies relationships? Do they like to hold hands and gaze at the moon? Do they even lift?
