It could become a big thing if Jaal is a particularly important person among Angarans. Like if he's some prince or well-known figure. And if you're essentially the ambassador for all humanity and become a huge figure in your own right by beating whatever it is we fight in Andromeda, that's a match that would undoubtedly make waves on both sides. Well, the VA of Scott did tweet this about the Angara: "I first saw the Angara almost a year ago. It was concept art. This is the first time seeing them myself. He's an interstellar Sir. " I'm guessing he was talking about Jaal in that last sentence. The "Sir" part could just be referring to his monocle, but you never know.

A... A prince, you say? My heart is fluttering... Ha, well a well-known military figure may be more likely based on the fighting skills and scars. But who knows, maybe they have one of those "royalty/leaders also must be military leaders" cultures. Yes!! Maybe members of the royal family (or whatever lol) have to prove themselves by engaging in some sort of battle, maybe a hunt... who knows, it's all speculation at this point

Jaw-l? Nah, in my head it'll always sound like Jah-l Er, there's a difference? I pronounce both of those like 'mall'. Or 'ya'll', since that's been said before.

I wonder if their language will be full of these long vowels. Makes me wonder about how to pronouce their species name. Ahn-gar-ah? Ahng-ah-rah? I'm very excited for everything we're gonna learn. For some reason I'm getting a T'Challa vibe for Jaal right now? Like, a warrior-prince thing. Due to to absolutely nothing, but, that'd be fun to play with. ( Also I'm just really excited for the Black Panther movie and it's on my brain so.)

Jaw-l? Nah, in my head it'll always sound like Jah-l Er, there's a difference? I pronounce both of those like 'mall'. Or 'ya'll', since that's been said before. The first one I pronounce like mall, but I don't know if it is different because I'm from the UK? We pronounce mall like maul, instead of mah-l. So I pronounce Jaw-l like Jaul, and in my head its Jah-l, like how mall is pronounce in America. EDIT: I could be totally wrong, ignore me I have no idea how to pronounce the name

I've been pronouncing it Jahl. To my mind the only possible pronunciations for 'Jaal' is Jahl or Yahl. Either way - it's always been ahl in my head. Jawl will take some getting used to...

I would love it if this time around some of the LI actually initiated talks about a relationship. 1000 x This! After DA2 and Anders, I'm not sure we'll get that though. It's a shame, really. I found Anders coming onto Hawke incredibly creepy, but only because he did it barely minutes after we watched him kill an ex-lover with his own hands. It's something that could work really well if handled better. Mass effect has come quite close in the past. Tali basically tells Shepard she likes him in ME2 with almost no prompt, as an example.

He's an interstellar Sir. :)" I'm guessing he was talking about Jaal in that last sentence. The "Sir" part could just be referring to his monocle, but you never know. Could be a knightly title as well, again, if Angaran are a romanticist space feudalism in a SW/Dune mold.

Yeah Knight is one of the ones that makes the most sense, though based on his outfit and how he is introduced, I get more of a rich politician vibe. Like he's the leader or adviser but high up in class.

LMAO! Not me, but I said it for others to enjoy. I would love a romance with a real gentleman I meet in MEA, who can be romantic, sweet and the relationship is meaningful, and where the sex scene is passionate and he is loyal to you. This is BW however so I will probably be dumped after sex

Maybe I interpret to much into it, but I think he is some kind of bodyguard for the Angaran female in the middle of the group at 1:06. Her different clothing and the way the other Angarans surround her make me think she is their leader (classical "take me to their leader" when you first meet aliens ) or a some sort of representative. When Jaal goes face to face witch Scott in the next scene it feels more like a threat: "one wrong move and you are in trouble". Or maybe I have been watching the trailer at least one too many times .

Could be the other way around. She's his bodyguard. They all seem to be waiting for him to show up and are protecting him from Scott. Remember Viv's entrance in DAI? She walks down the stairs and up to you and that noble?

I don't normally go for the hetero options in these games but I really enjoyed Cullen's romance in DAI. Surprised me tbh, wasn't expecting that at all.
