Hmmm. I wonder.
They pushed DAMP as a major selling point for DA:I and it was a pile of horse crap, which generated a fair amount of negative feedback from people who bought it for the MP. So now they are not pushing MEAMP as a selling point, because it's on par with DAMP, and want to avoid that negative feedback?

I wonder if they could let us create a character in the MP too, and because there's no story then other races could be included; Imagine creating your own Krogan, that would be awesome, but they'll probably give us preset characters which is fine because they'll probably include many races like in (ME3), so i'll be happy.

They probably haven't created the multiplayer mode yet. The game will probably be delayed until next year. I'll be skipping the single player, I'll play only multiplayer for a few years and then I might decide to try out the single player in four years, if I'm still alive. That's what I've always done for mass effect. It's the worst game ever. So bad, in every way. Don't they have a separate team for multiplayer though? I'm not sure but I recall vaguely to hearing something about this. Though it is very concerning that they haven't released any info at all regarding the mp yet. Last time with me3, they promoted the mp part a lot more I think. Maybe it's not a huge deal to them this time around, a big mistake from their part if that is so.. |

I suspect they may be playing it extremely safe, in their minds.
They know, obviously, anything they show will be immediately compared to ME3MP, for good or for ill. Plus, the stink of DAIMP hanging over their heads. Seems like they're keeping their heads down and focusing on making/polishing it, hopefully for a reveal soon. Ish. Maybe.

I have to say this is odd. I just hope it is an oversight from the marketing department under their new strategy. But it is an odd choice, showing multiplayer is simply gameplay and would be an excellent way to demonstrate their game in a non-spoilery way.

I'd be more concerned bout the support after we get to play ME:AMP, due to what happened with DAIMP  , rather the lack of info we have before release. Remember that ME3MP didn't have a whole lot at the beginning, it was basically a small experiment to see where it would go, little did they know it kept ME3 from committing seppuku. I'll believe that Bioware is trying to meet the expectations that is laid upon by ME3MP with ME:AMP, until proven overwise, I'll remain optimistic. |

Also: no crossplay between platforms. And it will be Peer-To-Peer again, no dedicated server. That's the latest news I just read (it was apparently posted on Twitter by Bioware) |

I haven't preordered the game. I'm a BIG ME fan, but instead of getting more hyped with each trailer, it has been the other way around for me. Like more dissapointed. The fact that no beta has been announced and we haven't get a good video explaining the combat troubles me.
Will withhold my judgment until a beta is available. But MEA is looking to be more of a letdown that DAI was.

The silence on the multiplayer part makes me worry it will be half-assed. |

Thankfully I updated my PC so I don't have to suffer that...my experience playing ME2 on PS3 was...disastrous. After playing the entire trilogy on PC and then switching to consoles, it felt so weird, not to mention the FPS drops in ME2 PS3. |

"New Next Gen" now that ps4 neo is out  (maybe now we can get some 1080p cinematics and and a overall better pc port with proper setting adjustments since they supposedly spent 5yrs making on this game).
