Who will you play as, Scott or Sara?

I'm actually very against the idea of using any default settings in RPGs, even if I like them, lol. Hawke in DAII looked like a character I would've made, but because I hate buying an RPG and not using the options given to me, I went out of my way to create a new character.

Even if Sara or Scott had been names I'd planned on using, I would've changed my plans to use a different name. I just feel like that's the proper way to play these games.

Not that you have to agree, but I figured I'd at least explain my opinion. 

Custom Scott.

Default Scott on first run. Default Sara on second. Customs on rest if I get that far.

Wait, what? This is the first I'm hearing of this. That is pretty awesome.

Yup this is me as well ! I don't imagine they will have a lot of places to say our actual name (all the places they said out name in FO4 I totally missed lol), but it will be a nice little touch . Then in subsequent play througs I can pick out they replace our with "Ryder" or "Pathfinder"  

I wonder what the sibling is going to call the PC if not the default name? "Ryder" or "Pathfinder" would be incredibly awkward. I guess "Bro" or "Sis" would work, but it'd be a little on the nose, eh?

I honestly don't know at this stage. I don't cast myself in Bioware games, I create a character to be a lead player in the story and make the decisions I think they would, not the ones I would.

In the original Mass Effect I played FemShep based on the voice acting in the one video I'd seen before launch that featured her. Never regretted it, as Jennifer Hale was wonderful throughout. In Andromeda there doesn't seem to be a standout winner in terms of voice acting, they both seem to be very good. So I'm undecided at the moment. I'm glad both will be characters in the game though, so we don't miss out on one by choosing the other.

Whichever I play as, they'll be called Scott and Sara and I'll probably stick with the default Sara (she's adorable) but create a custom Scott, though he'll still look very much like her twin.

First run - Default Scott (good walkthrough)
Second run - Custom Sara (evil walkthrough)

I'm definitely customizing SisRyder, but I'm keeping the name Sara. a)because I was thinking of naming her Sara anyway b)because characters in-game will actually say the default name if you keep it c) in addition to a & b, the spelling of "Sara" is my favorite spelling of the name. It's fate I say, fate!
