All I wanna know if if someone flirted with Kallo and how he took it.  For my birthday, c'mon. He's a Salarian, they ain't got the clue, he probably thought Ryder was proposing a group study session  With only 6 squad mates to choose from, and one of those 6 not ever going to be an option, bioware was not going to make 2 out of 5 gay. *pulls out Bioware's own excuse* Ohhhhhhhhh but Asari totally don't count because they have no gender ihihi so it would only be 1 bi. Fun how that works eh? |

Yep, I am pretty certain all gay guys have is the NPC Gil Brodie, the engineer voiced by Game of Thrones' actor, Gethin Anthony, who played Renly Baratheon  I think that is literally all we are gunna have. Everyone else is gunna have a squadmate. Straight guys will have Cora, Peebee and maybe even Vetra as well. Straight women will have Liam and Jaal. Lesbian women will have Peebee and Vetra maybe. Gay guys no squadmates. Just an NPC. If this is true I want to know why, like for real, why they felt the need to do this to us again. I'll be disappointed with Bioware if they do that to gay/bi guys playing the game. It can't be that hard to have either Jaal or Liam be bi at the very least. The fact that they're being so tight-lipped about romance options while flaunting Cora and Male Ryder makes me wonder if they know a lot of people will be disappointed with the final distribution of romance options. |

So thats pretty much it then? Jaal isn't bi, so gay guys can't romance squadmates... so basically a factor of the game everyone else gets to enjoy, taking your love interest with you on missions, has been denied to us. Its like Mass Effect 1 all over again. I'm gunna send some tweets out to try and get something. I am seriously considering cancelling my preorder if this is true. |

Wasn't there a leak saying Jaal was going to be bi, though? I remember it spawning a lot of discussion because the person who leaked it said the romance scene with Sara had nudity while the one with Scott was more PG-13. It's not necessarily accurate of course, but I'm holding onto hope that Bioware hasn't regressed on this issue.

I think the scene with Peebee is the one where she tackles Ryder upon meeting them, not a romance scene (unless you're talking of a different scene?) One of the previews (couldn't tell you which one though, I've read a lot) says that Peebee mentions an ex-girlfriend. I'm incredibly sceptical about these rumours. If there are two male and female options for Sara, and more than two female options for Scott on the squad but no male options for Scott on the squad that would be the most skewed the romance options have ever been. I'm sure that somebody would have picked up on that, and would be very surprised if it got through.
I mean, it's possible, but I'm sure Bioware are fully aware of the justified outcry that would ensue. I can't see them doing it knowing that.
