I think a Krogan love interest could be cool.  Don't know when they would go for it. When they do, I worry that they would make a romance like that a kind of... joke? I guess? Like they don't really take the character or the romance seriously. |

So none of them raped the other one...They were just megahorny. But of course, it's still unpleasant for the gamers to be forced into a sex and drunk scene in a game where we should actually have more freedom about our decisions. Javik and Shep were 2 people who got drunk, acted on a moment of lust and one woke up to regret what she did. Anything else is reading into things that only exists in that person's head. But one other thing is, ME3 Citadel DLC was a parody. A joke. It was not really canon. Half the stuff in it was things fans had talked about that they added to the game. |

That Javik thing is just. [ SHUDDERS] James, too. Gosh, what terrible ideas both those things were.  Dies it happen with Dudeshep, or is Femshep the only lucky participant? As the date approaches, I find myself getting more nervous about finding the asexual-compatible LI's in this game. Since romance arcs don't open with "we'll definitely being having sex in this one", I don't want to blunder my way into a romance with a mandatory sex scene. When does the Early Access start? Mid-march??? Come on, data mining! ( Or Bioware could have mercy and tell me one--just one--so I have a safe choice right from the start.) |

Yeah I think calling it rape is a bit much. BW shouldn't have made it trigger without any input from the player but that's a meta problem. There is no indication in the game's story that Shepard was unwilling at the time it happened. (Of course, I'm slightly biased cause I always had the hots for Javik so I was pretty happy even that tiny option to act on it existed...  ) |

But that's your subjective impression because "you" played as an asexual Shepard...the truth is however, that Bioware put away your freedom of decision in this certain scene...in this scene shepards behaviour was predefined by Bioware. She wasn't supposed to be raped by Javik... I don't say it's good to put away our choice... but it's still NO rape. It was never intended as a rape scene. |

Javik and Female Shepard only are supposed to sleep together if Shepard is single. It's one of those typical (and irl) moments where the drink overtook all thoughts and common sense and they just went at it. This is in every comedy I ever saw. It was so common even back in the 90's.

We have to accept that BW Shepard isn't necessarily exactly like we imagine our character in our heads all the time, and BW Shepard decided that a drunken romp with a Prothean was a fun idea at the time. |
