How offten will the name Scott and Sarah be used ingame?

I hope it's not to often, I don't want to feel like I'm missing out on anything by refusing to play default characters.

What would you be missing out on? It's a name. Lines won't change for anything other than Sara/Scott/Ryder.

Zero times for me. I plan on changing Scott's name.

For me, The most ridiculous thing in Bioware game (DA2/DAI and ME trilogy) is that no one call me by first name. even my love or best friend. Maybe it's common thing for Western culture but I am not western... So I want NPC to talk to me by first name as mucn as possible, especially our friend, family and Lover.

Now I start to imagine Liam yell Ryder name when Scott's in danger.


ps. I fully support if they choose both first name & last name for us. (I believe many game do that) as long as they allow player to choose their own path. (Spme game not allow us to change appearance or even have only one ending)

well news flash you do not have power to change lines in the game so guess what the name change shit means nothing at all

I don't see much need to use it very often. Most of the awkward occasions when they should have used a first name instead of a surname or title, they didn't really need to say anything. In normal speech, context makes clear who you're addressing.

I imagine it's mostly between family members, since that's the weirdest place to use last names or titles.
