So why aren't the initiative evil? They are complete strangers that come from another galaxy and attempt to invade your space and your planets in the Helios cluster. When the Kett try to defend them, they are branded as evil and members of the initiative attack the Kett. And all because the initiative got itself into the situation where they have to settle because they don't have enough power. There is a rebellion against Jin Garson on the nexus because of it. Its like the europeans and the american indians all over again. Cue cowboy theme. Plot twist: We're the bad guys. Doesn't seem like a Bioware thing to do. Exploration and Adventure is what MEA about, Repressions and Xenocide are from Paradox domain. It'll be more like europeans coming to America only to find locals being oppressed by... vikings or whoever. Vikings are european....cough. |

I think he's alluding to the possibility of the Vikings having already colonized North America, by the time the Spanish make it there. |

At the end, we discover The Remnants were actually ancient humans, who pulled a BSG and went to go all non-technology in the Milky Way, hence our affinity with Remnant vault technology. Where do you think the Atlanteans went? On a more serious note: I can't recall whether ME toys around with the theme of humanoid panspermia at all, as an 'explanation' (a la Star Trek) of the fact that so many civilizations of the galaxy appear to be have been established by bipedal humanoids? Could they try to hint at a theory of intergalactic panspermia this time around? Pfftt... Like EA will allow Bioware the time and money to create new animations for non-bipedal humanoids as major characters. |

Somehow a villain races comes out of left field and turns everything on its head. for example for a more comedic version, Psycho-bunnies. One of the Psycho-bunnies is called the Churchill and yes he has an eye piece and talks with thick british accent. In order to fight them and avoid their mutation virus and their horrible smell, developing a special filter to do that.
having a twist of any stripes is good.

The whole Andromeda adventure turns out to be a virtual reality. At some point we'll find out we've all been harvested and hooked up to a matrix inside the new Human Reaper.
Also, there's no way to 'wake up' because we're just a digital package of uploaded memories and personality traits. Our physical bodies were all turned to goo.
Finally some closure to the trilogy!

Epilogue: The Initiative discovers a signal from the Milky Way about the Reaper invasion. ME3 choices determine the nature of the cryptic message that suggests that the galaxy either defeated the Reapers or were defeated by them (i.e. Liara's beacon about the Crucible).
