It is the same as having an American accent, maybe the translation gives that accent because of some different Asari dialect. This is very, maybe, probably the Lore explanation. IRL though I think they just wanted A) to reinforce the idea Lexi is prim and proper and B ) get a big reaction out of the fanbase with the casting choice. We've seen more character vids for Lexi than any other character because... Natalie Dormer has a lot of cultural weight right now. |

I think it's quite likely that the asari characters will be bisexual, only because that species, traditionally, doesn't favor one gender over the other typically. Aria seemed to be the only exception to that rule as she only seemed interested in women.

This is the closest I'm ever going to get to being in a relationship with Natalie Dormer  My guess is that it's going to be sort of like Blackwall and Joesphine or Dorian and Iron Bull in DAI -- they can flirt and have crushes and the like, but you can still romance them. |
