To me, the voice sounds like it might belong to an older woman. I'd say elderly but given life spans in the ME universe I'm not sure exactly what constitutes "elderly". Great video, though. Nice to see something positive out there. Talking about what is seen rather than feelings about it.

But I guess there will also be background NPCs like on Normandy. Anyway, I was thinking about the Archon today and meh. Another opportunity wasted on creating yet another villain that screams "I'm the evil one". There is no point of changing Paragon/Renegade if the framework of the writing and storytelling is still totally leaning on archetypes and clear bias towards what is evil and what is good. |

I wonder if all the crew from opening are just random background crew OR all of them have their own indentity. There weren't that many. But I guess there will also be background NPCs like on Normandy. Anyway, I was thinking about the Archon today and meh. Another opportunity wasted on creating yet another villain that screams "I'm the evil one". There is no point of changing Paragon/Renegade if the framework of the writing and storytelling is still totally leaning on archetypes and clear bias towards what is evil and what is good. I'm not too excited for the villain. I like his voice but i'm not feeling him yet but there's still more to see from him. I kinda wanted a female villain like Benezia (although she was a sidekick). |

I think they actually said/hinted there shouldn't be such npcs on the Tempest, because of the smaller size and crew. We'll see that soon I guess. On the Archon, if what shinobi stated is true, should have motivations different then 'evil'. But they failed to portray that if true. |

Rewatched this trailer and saw something that kind of worried me...
The section where you see Scott tap Cora on the shoulder whilst they head towards a shuttle shows Cora with an Avenger, yet we know from her profile that her preferred weapon is a shotgun. That worries me that cutscenes will always show the default weapon rather than the currently equipped weapon.

To be fair to the people who put together the trailer though, I have to imagine that "nuanced antagonist" is a difficult thing to portray in a short video when you also want to show off other aspects of the game while avoiding too many spoilers. |

Good stuff. I think I like more the Angarans (I know they're glorified Twi'leks, but still) than the Kett design wise, although that's personal. I hope there're some other really odd looking aliens out there like the SW Ongree. Star wars had always great design for aliens.
But I'm really interested in the new weapons they were holding, that's the first thing I always put my eye in the trailers heh.
I was also catching up with your past videos, glad I did because in one of them it was mentioned by the devs that they plan on releasing a 15-ish mins gameplay at some point. I didn't know that and I hope it's soon... we need a bit of good old gameplay to get a better feeling of the game, these short 1.5 min trailers don't give us much.
