BioWare Video: Unapologetically Peebee with Christine Lakin

Inb4 "Liam is so boring" then. Luke also wrote Kaidan in ME1 and Jacob in ME2.

Was I the only one who noticed they basically confirmed Peebee as an LI here? Not that it's exactly a surprise, o' course.

I'm kinda liking her so far. I thought that "dead things" comment was funny, I bet she's talking about Drack and his cool bone armor.

Ah, so her development is stuck behind a paywall.

I have zero problems with extra content.

A completion to Sera's character arc, however, is not extra content.

And I haven't played Baldur's Gate II, but that sounds like ass. 

I suppose the question is: Will Pee Bee be the first Asari I genuinely, truly, like?

I am getting MAIJOR "Lara Croft" "Indiana Jones" and "Nathan Drake" vibes from Peebee. A free spirited adventurer with trust issues. I can get on board with this.

I'm liking the way they've described Peebee so far~ She's pretty cute, and I have a soft spot for silly light-hearted characters, so long as it isn't too over the top. Since I haven't played DAI, I don't really get all the comparisons people have been doing with her and Sera, but I'm hoping she's likable. She might just have a spot reserved in my squad~ (Her, Vetra, or Drack. Such tough decisions~)

For all of those worried PeeBee is going to be "Sera in Space," let me reassure you that she's going to be

Now that I think on it....game devs don't create too many bigger style expansions anymore. Sure, sometimes we get a rather decent sized one like say...the Shivering Isles from Oblivion or even the White March from Pillars of Eternity, but more often, we get stuff like Automatron for FO4 or the settlement stuff. 

Here's hoping ME:A doesnt get too many paywalls for story based stuff. 

That also reminds me, I still have to play the remastered BG 1/2 ect on my good old steam backlog. 

But as far as PeeBee is concerned, I really hope I am wrong about her being Sera 2.0, because I found myself only really interested in the DA:O and DA:2 cameos the most. Maybe it was all the bears that did it.

In any game, there are always characters I don't like. I didn't like Kaidan, Jack, Javick, Jacob, Zaeed, Allister, Cullen, Blackwall, Iron Bull. That doesn't mean I didn't find them interesting. We don't need to like them all, but hopefully, even if we don't like them, they still interesting and that's what counts. Some of them I enjoyed disliking, if that makes sense. They still made me feel. In my eyes, the worse thing that can happen to a character is to leave me completely indifferent, which, to be honest, was almost the case for Blackwall. I had almost forgotten he was even in DAI.

I suspect I will like PeeBee, as I liked Joker, another hit and miss jokes character.
