So everyone rocks jetpacks on their armor?

I doubt it, especially with the jetpack being an upgrade we can apply versus being default part of the armor.

In universe wise, they're probably all rocking jetpacks.

From what they've said the jetpack 'is' default, it's always there. The upgrades are for distance and hover duration. I imagine at default it's good enough for most exploration and upgrading it is for ease of use and making doing certain things with it in combat possible and/or easier. But it is always there. It's our basic dodge and ability to 'jump' (instead of us just jumping).

It's like pilots in the Titanfall universe.

Yeah, I remember that but they also, prior to that (recently, not like years ago) said you 'dodged with your jetpack'. I have a feeling it's the default, along with Omniblade. And we just have options that can change that. Maybe if we go full on Adept, much like Kingdom's of Amalur, it changes our dodge to a biotic variant or something. Would be pretty nifty if the profiles did that, especially with the variety like KoA.

Basically, the jetpack is required for exploration, so it's always there. Anything else is optional/alternative or an upgrade. Could be wrong though, but that's what I've picked up from all the stuff they've mentioned.
