Jealousy Between Companions

I wouldn't say that characters didn't care. I mean, if you romance Ashley and Liara at the same time, you get confronted by the two ladies in question and asked to make a decision. When I accidentally romanced Thane along with Garrus in my first ME2 playthrough, Garrus was understanding of my interest in Thane and said if I wanted to continue with him I'd have to break it off with Thane. I don't know if they would count as jealousy, but he certainly did have a slightly more relaxed perspective on it. And considering he spent a solid two or three interactions asking me if I was sure I wanted to bang him and not find someone "a little more closer to home," I can kinda understand why he was a bit more relaxed about me romancing Thane at the same time than, say, Ashley was about Liara.

I remember doing that scene thinking it's about to go down. Then it actually went down just not the way I hoped😢

I think they will have a "you must chose" between some. Maybe not all of them. I'm interested in seeing how different the romances are from the previous games.

But I hope that they dared implementing one or two (or more) options that truly allow you some kind of open relationship (hell, even cheating might be nice, like say with that reporter chick in ME3...that was not a main romance, but you could bang her (didn't like her much, but that was a nice touch)) or even a threesome as the final romance scene before the big last mission in the game

Some slight jealousy (or even the appearance of not caring - but a change in tone etc. that allows you to figure it out) would be great however (hell, maybe even a kind of "bidding" war (where each of the two wants to claim you and they try stuff like gifts, public shows of affection in front of the other involved party etc.), I mean love isn't rational and people in love do stupid things (or at least they seem stupid if you aren't in love))

Direct confronatations (Ash and Liara) are ok, too if they fit the personality of those involved - but they kind of have been done
