Yes, it makes every sense to leave them there. Andromeda is not ME4.
isn't Andromeda not supposed to "make sense" in the first place considering it is not tied to the first 3 whatsoever except for the "for the sake of the lore argument" in order just to call it Mass Effect? ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸
Bio can tell many stories within the Mass Effect Universe, without Shep. Andromeda is a new and stand alone story within said IP. So, the origins of this game story starts in the Sol system where the Nexus and ARKs were constructed. Andromeda then opens up with the Hyperion arriving in the Helious cluster but not on the target destination. Things go to the crapper from there.
The lore argument I just brush aside as irrational thinking and I will not allow it from enjoying this game.

Nobody give this man an adorable quarian. Why you tryna hide my sunshine, friend? Because I have no higher wish than to see Andromeda go down in flames.

Next the Geth: - they know that the Reapers are coming (the Heretics served Sovereign after all!) and they know that the Quarians will attack them eventually, so they will do what they can to survive (and becoming stowaways on an existing expedition is cheaper than putting together your own, especially if you travel as software not hardware - you can then take over mechs in the new galaxy and make off with a small ship or something, till you want to contact the other races again, if ever!) This is the only one I have problems with and for practical reasons. Geth who aren't upgraded by the Reapers lose their intelligence as their numbers decrease. Therefore, dividing their numbers wouldn't make any kind of sense. Even if the AI leaves post-ME2 (I think we're still unclear about this), that leaves the geth either a) depleted because Shepard chose to destroy the heretics or they just went to all the trouble of rewriting the heretics so why would they want to be divided again? If the numbers of geth are too small, they essentially become "dumb". Someone would have to choose to create more geth and network them with the others in order to get AI again.

Here I thought it'd be better to wish that the product actually be good. Ah well. Fuck 'em. May they feel the intense sting of our collective disappointment and ultimately hang themselves with the cords of the computers they used to waste all of our countless hours with.

If the numbers of geth are too small, they essentially become "dumb". Someone would have to choose to create more geth and network them with the others in order to get AI again. That's only true if they go below a certain threshold - I mean look at Legion: He (or they?) aren't part of the Geth-Consensus while traveling with Shepard, that's why this one plattform holds so many Geth-Subroutines! Otherwise it would not be able to speak or make tactical decisions (in the end? They only need one "Legion" (or to be save: One Legion per Ark!)...and it's not like the Geth can't replace subroutines they send away (they are able to program themselves and "reproduce"...the Reaper code only gives each individual subroutine true AI-Status, meaning that only one is needed per platform (so even the largest Geth units could be run by one "tiny" routine (where before it was several or even dozens or hundreds (it was never outright stated how many are needed for basic operations, we know that Legion truly holds many!)) greetings LAX

Why would anyone in his or her right mind want old species that we already know for years instead of fresh designs? Especially Quarians, which BioWare didn't have enough guts to give the official without-the-mask look to*.
Let's just hope we won't get some inter-galactic teleport door to import all the old races to the next game.
* sloppy PS of a stock photo doesn't count.

We don't need to spoil Andromeda with more old aliens, when the new ones weren't really being introduced yet.

May they feel the intense sting of our collective disappointment and ultimately hang themselves with the cords of the computers they used to waste all of our countless hours with. Just for the record, I was talking about the galaxy Andromeda. If the galaxy burns down, they have to go back to the Milky Way, no way around it. Andromeda: The Game is virtually guaranteed to succeed, if only because BioWare fans have super duper low standards and will buy and enjoy literally any BioWare game they're handed. But who knows, maybe they'll manage to deliver a Mass Effect 3 Ending 2: Electric Boogaloo.
