Actually I like the idea of rival factions & conspiracies, as opposed to a grand old big battle against a supreme bad (with bad intentions). The original trilogy did that big battle thrice, one in each episode. Shepard was a larger than life, grand old hero, exactly the type to wage that kind of huge battle. That's been done; I hope they try something a bit different now.

This time we're a clueless young fellow, trying to navigate his/her way in a completely new environment; we shouldn't be as amazing-and-already-a-superstar as Shepard was in the beginning; and neither should the antagonists should turn out to be Shepard-worthy galaxy-consuming eternal monsters.

I voted for the Angarans (because I already love them so plot twist! They won't find me with my guard down, fellas!) Edit: " They look too good. I don't trust good looking people." OP, you are the best!!!  )

And I voted for Sis/Bro Ryder (because family drama. Dad is so obvious, but what about your sibling? The version of yourself in another pararell universe playthrough? That hurts so I love it!)

I voted Remnant but I really hope there are no trilogy-spanning intergalactic threats.

We already have Jaarrus, our enemy might be Jaaren, leader of the G.. Kett.

Next game we'll have the Collectnant.

I fondly call it ME's version of the Blight.

Maybe at some point of the main story we'll have to choose between the Mages and the Templars...Sorry I mean the Kett and the Angara.

So, we decide who will be the bad guys.
