a Note 7 class? Certainly ... the BioWare writers are fans of the big bang ... or maybe just burning it all down ... which is how we got to Andromeda, doncha know. wow given the heat generated by an N7 class galaxy it sounds like a suicide mission.

I voted on Alec because I actually hope there will be a good plot twist about him, either in this game or maybe in another. The Ryder family's plot is very important, so I believe dad is going to be lost in some kind of search for a new source of power and we'll have to choose what to do about it

Cerberus, obviously. With the illusive indoctrinated asshole out of the picture, Cerberus can return to its roots and focus on the important things - unethical experiments that backfire and kill everyone involved every time. Go science!

Come on, guys. We've played and watched enough things to imagine how this is going to end. Hopes up, double! And bonus: the siblings discovering the truth behind their own family:

My guess? Everything and nothing, with Kett being red herring and way to show at least some sort of simplistic situation for marketing sake.
A galactic threat that isn't personified, but also many competing interests and you aren't as sure who is good or bad (and even whether the Pathfinder is really doing the good thing). Grey morality for at least a more recent Bioware game.
I don't count out the Reapers being a factor, despite developer statements. First, devs can lie. Second, Reaper is just a cosmically recent nickname for old machine entities. Just as Cerberus MIGHT be renamed and repurposed, so might Reapers.
At the very least, I think Bioware may be trying to move away from the big baddie formula as much, while still maintaining antagonist(s).

Well, we already know of 3 factions we'll be fighting, presumably the same in MP: 1. Raiders/Anarchists - Replacement for Cerberus*, but more interesting since they're all of the friendly races including Angaarans. 2. Kett - Replacement for Reapers*? Possibly less interesting since they're just more organics instead of crazy abominations? Or maybe they are? Collectors. They are actually quite Collector-like. 3. Remnant (drones?) - Replacement for Geth*. * In gameplay Story-wise, it's hard to say how much of an antagonistic role 1 & 3 will have. The Remnant drones could be hostile be default, since you're accessing their stuff, and the Remnants themselves might not be, if they're alive in some way. Raiders don't seem unified since they're killing each other, but there could still be an infighting story about a more unified group with a more clear leader. I do have to agree with the gist of this in terms of gameplay enemies. There may be more, and new DLC enemies, and more misc small to large creatures, but I think we'll be fighting a lot of the rebellious, the guardians of vaults, and whatever makes up the Kett faction. Not sure if this means big baddie though. A Reaper was big bad even though we'd fight Geth. A Reaper was big bad even though we'd fight Collectors and Mercs. A Reaper was big bad even though we fought Cerberus and Geth (and CAT6). Will the Kett and Archon be the big bad or are they just going to be a focus point while something larger is going on?

Why are there so many votes on Dad Ryder lol? Did I miss something or was the daddy issues trope from ME 2 more popular than I realized? It wasn't just ME2. Bioware just loves that trope. Like, way too much. As well as the killing your family trope. To be honest, I'd like to mix it up and have a family who doesn't die and that you can get along with. I'm not so sure we'll 'get along' with them by default and I think we won't be escaping 'daddy issues', but its possible that in outright displaying 'this is your daddy' (Alec N7) and encouraging us to expect there to be 'daddy issues', they subvert expectations by having an absence of them when we expect to see them, and having a more complicated relationship than we assume.

I can see Cerberus being the enemy, because as in ME3 we could never get enough of cerberus could we?

I voted for the Remnant, because I'm definitely getting some fishy Reaper-esque vibes there. But I think it'll only become a threat when it gets 'woken' up - perhaps through the Archon meddling with it? Because as we've seen it it kind of reminds me of the Dwemer tech in the Elder Scrolls games. Where it's not inherently hostile; it's just playing guard dog despite it's creators being long gone. I also picked the Angara. Not because I believe their whole species will be against us, but we've already gotten the sense that there's at least factions within that have a darker, dangerous side (the scanning investigation with Reyes in the gameplay trailer). So some off-shoot rebel group of them might make for a secondary 'main' enemy.
