Weekend Events

+1 I also liked the weekend events. Hopefully BW will do these for MEA.

yes, absolutely! it was fantastic ! to play with so many players all over the galaxy to accomplish the same missions, very fun, i hope the MEA MP has some events too

My favourite weekend event (although for sad reasons) was the Inferno Grenade challenge in memory of Zaeed Massani's voice actor who passed away.

Regular weekend events really helps to build communities and should be encouraged as much as possible!

I hope they definitely bring back the weekend events. Those created some of the most fun moments in ME3MP for me.

I missed out on all those, they sounded really fun so I hope they do something similar for Andromeda.

Same here. Events and challenges was one aspect of MP I did not get to see, and would love to.

Yes. I use to anticipate the weekend challenges, so I hope they make a return.

They were great. It's no exaggeration to say that they kept me playing multiplayer.

Even if I hadn't played MP in a while, I would return for the Events.

I, for one, avidly anticipate these. The feeling of camaraderie was awesome... even after I completed the personal challenge, I felt compelled to continue playing all weekend to help with the community challenge.

Additionally, many of the weekend challenges helped to force folks outside their comfort zone, such as stepping up to Gold if you hadn't already or trying certain kits/weapons you hadn't before. For folks new to them, it was a good way to expand your horizons. For people already playing at that level, it was like a community service to help the newer players be successful. My favorite part of challenges, like the final one Lodestar, was getting a wrecking crew together to help people more used to lower difficulties get Platinum done to unlock their final commendation pack.

Bring them on, BioWare! I never missed one weekend event that PS3 could participate in for ME3MP (the first three medals will always be blacked out, sadly, but that is out of a PS3er's control ) and I never missed one weekend event for DAIMP on PS4... bring me the weekend challenges!  

I'd love to see weekend events come back but I'm not getting my hopes up. After reading the thing about the limited time pre made modifier games for the new currency, I got a sinking feeling that they would replace the consistent weekend events. Might still see a few here and there but I'm not gonna get excited for weekly events.

Yes! I can't wait for weekend events; I hope they do provide the equivalent of the commendation packs from ME3.

I did like them, but when I couldn't play during some of those events (social stuff, holidays) I felt like I was missing out as a completionist (those pretty banners!)
