With us going to a new galaxy theres gotta be ppl getting homesick of Earth and the Milkyway. In many departments; culture, entertainment, planets and friends and family. One thing sci fi movies and tv shows do is sometimes bring old into the new. What if Ryder had some retro tunes from the 20th and start of the 21st century in his or her room to choose from to play, or you could buy some from the Nexus? And you could hear them playing during cutscenes in the room aswell. Shephard had some music to play in his/her quarters, what do you expect Andromeda to do?

Or maybe a romance quest for one of your squadmates has you pick out a song from the Nexus to buy. Then you play it in your room and they have a different reaction to each song.

I could see there being a radio in your quarters just as I can see a wardrobe being in ther although I've got to admit I don't really use the radio much in there. I mostly only go in there to feed my fish and check my messages.

I expect music will work the same as it has in previous games, and I'm okay with that. Although I do think it would be fun to be able to incorporate 20th and 21st century music into the game. For example, I'd like to drive around in the Nomad, running over little alien critters while listening to this. |

Would like to have a portable Mp3 player that is part of the omni tool to listen to acquired soundtracks. FFXV did a decent job of this. You can purchase soundtracks at vendors or find them at outposts. Again another cool collectible (IMO) like the whole hologram gwent idea I posted previously. The music can consist of all the old music from the previous trilogy as well as new music from ME:A, and it can be played while out exploring, walking around the Nexus, or just chilling on the Tempest.
Would like to be able to just walk about a new planet listening to this soundtrack on repeat:

You could so something like that in UT2004. IIRC the audio had to be in .ogg format, but otherwise it would work fine. Also in BF2 I had a mod server going once where the UH60s could play music. "If You Want Blood (You Got It)" by ACDC and "Eat the Rich" by Krokus were my favorites. |

When driving the car, my Ryder will turn up the volume if she/he doesn't want to hear what the squadmates are saying. At times she/he will pull over and get out of the car to perform some air guitar. |
