Did two of my placement matches and I instalocked Reaper both times.
Kicked ass in both so knowing how matchmaking goes in this game, I'll probably get stomped in the next game.

Oh also im on Xbox One GT: x Lady Abstract
I main Zenyatta and Widowmaker. But im pretty versatile in each class though. I also play and im decent with McCree, Pharah, Soldier 76. Tracer, Hanzo, Roadhog, Mercy and Symmetra. I can also play Junkrat, Reaper, and Bastion but im not all that great with them compared to those that play them regularly

Waiting a bit with the placement matches just to be extra sure that they don't screw me over as the first season placement matches did with the numerous bugs that existed. Might aswell share my stats for the fun of it

Does anyone else feel that starting with one man less in quickplay should give your team some kind of boost? I've had to play several matches today were we've had to play whole games with only five teammates, and on zones like Hanamura that can be a real challenge.

Was damn near impossible to do it with the old version of her ultimate. Devs shaving of 1 sec of the time it took to detonate has made it a ton easier Plus you had to run off and find somewhere to hide from your ultimate, or you'd be dead.

Some gameplay as Ana, pugs seem to hate playing support kits so more often than not im playing support.Ana is my favourite of the support kits.
Definitely an interesting character, I kind of wish they buff her a little offensively though, she's already lacking crit damage and I do feel the darts damage can be underwhelming at times.

A general tip: always announce when your ultimate is ready, especially if you're Ana that way team mates can be ready to follow up on it. An Ana specific tip: heroes who can deal reliable damage should be priority targets for your ultimate. Soldier and Winston are good, Reinhardt is even better and Reaper (with or without his ultimate), Genji during Dragon Blade or McCree during Deadeye are even better still. Of the people on your team, I probably would've held on and given it to Bastion or Roadhog if his ultimate was ready to go but definitely not Hanzo.

I did announce that my ultimate was ready you can see my doing it in the vid. I powered up Roadhog once but the person playing as him was dying a lot and didnt really do anything when powered up. I believe the person playing as Hanzo was the highest rank in our team and you will notice from the vid he was contributing a lot offensively. Hanzo was doing more damage to the enemy team and was importantly staying alive for longer than Bastion. In an ideal world I would of had a competent Genji, Reaper or Soldier 76 etc on my team who I could powerup but unfortunatly this is rarely the case while pugging

My bad. Still wouldn't give it to Hanzo though but then I have my issues with people who play Hanzo. Yeah, PUGs are rarely ideal and extremely frustrating to play support or tank for so I don't envy you. Your survival is reliant upon others doing their respective jobs properly and they bitch when they need healing but won't do anything about the flankers hunting you down.

I appreciate the advice, let me know if youre interested in playing a couple of games some time. Im close to unlocking competative play

Okay, I have to get this off my chest - we were running out of time fast and our Ana boosted a Reaper who did his ultimate and killed off half the opposing team. Now, instead of actually trying to cap the point he sprayed a wall and emoted, knowing he did PotG, and as he was busy doing that a Tracer stuck her ultimate on him and killed him off. If he had actually paid attention instead he could have wraithed, got on point and helped the few of us still alive to cap it. As it was we were killed of as we didn't manage to cap the zone before the defenders returned. Like, whyyyyyy? Am I the only one who thinks winning the game is more important than PotG?

But doing the slow clap emote after a great Death Blossom is practically mandatory. L2Reaper For real though, many Reaper players are guilty of that myself included. I once killed five people on a Death Blossom and stopped to emote...when a Widowmaker shot me in the head. Still worth it though.

I mean, I get that people can feel a great deal of satisfaction when wiping half the enemy team, but when there is only 30 seconds left to cap the point and most of your teammates are dead I do feel that you have to have your priorities straight. Then again, I mostly play characters that don't get the big ultimate kills (D!va*, Mei, Symmetra, Mercy, Lucio, Tracer) so I'm always surprised when I get PotG. *Obviously in theory you can team wipe with D!va's ultimate, but usually people will hide behind a lamppost and survive. Last time I played on Eichenwald the enemy somehow survived when they were standing under the arrow and my bomb is where the circle is:

Anyway, I find that D.va's ult can be useful even when it doesn't kill anyone, like scattering the other team when they've bunkered up on the point.

Heimdall I agree, but not in situations like the one in the pic I posted - they just calmly took two steps to the side before my mech blew up, then got back out! It made absolutely no difference, and it's just ridiculous when you see their head sticking out and the ult still doesn't kill them. I guess next time I will have to fly it in from above, but you have to aim and time it carefully so it doesn't end up in the moat...
