Overwatch

Didn't get a skin tonight, but i did get Mercy's fortune highlight intro from the event, which is rather nice. Plus, I'll soon have enough creds to buy her event skin,

I got that earlier today myself as a matter of fact. I'm sure it'll look splendid with the event Tracer skill which I'll buy when I can(after the mercy one).

SO, I've noticed something strange about Mercy and her highlights/PotG. A friend of mine is trying to get his first "Huge Rez", and as I had just finished a game where I rezzed people on point I thought I could show it to him using the saved clip on Highlights (remember, I play on PS4). The saved highlight was not of my 4 man rez, but a 2 man rez off point earlier in the game! Now, perhaps you ask yourself if I healed a lot after the rez (barely any healing) or if I shot someone (only one shot). How can this be worth more than a 4 man rez on last point?

Also, I've noticed a couple of games where I've gotten PotG with Mercy that my screen during the game said I rezzed 3 people, but later when the PotG is shown the screen only mentions 2! I have a video where you can do a side by side comparison and see the difference! How is that even possible?

Are we going to spend the next weeks speculating on characters again?

So, I've never been able to play flankers. The whole idea of going in there alone gives me the shudders . But since I play mostly mystery heroes, I got to try them. And today, finally, I decided I'd play soome Tracer on Quickplay.

Turns out she's a ton of fun, and I can stay alive and do some damage. I'm loving her so far

As far as the event goes though, the RNG gods are not being too kind to me. But I am not deterred   

I'll be nabbing the Mei, Sym and D.Va ones for sure.

I just experienced two people on my team during a competitive match not doing sh*t, they were just sitting crouched together. When I flew to them they started to melee me and made it very clear they wanted me to leave (they were also our two tanks, which made it even worse). Through some miracle we still won the match, but that report function can not come soon enough to the PS4...

Who knows, maybe they had their own griefers? I do remember they were not that good at contesting the payload. My team mates did occasionally rejoin the fight, but I found them more than once sitting by themselves doing nothing. I think what saved us was the burning wrath me and at least one team member felt at their behavior, because we were determined to show them we didn't need them. So we basically won with a Mercy, Phara, McCree and Junkrat... not exactly meta! 

So Capture the Flag is back. Now on all Control Maps (Lijiang Tower, Illos, Nepal and Oasis). I think this is a great addition, especially for people like me who considers playing the other typical Arcade games a painful task yet does it weekly to get the loot boxes. Capture the Flag deserves to stay as a new game mode!
