Looking at the two options, the hardcover is $32.00 on Amazon while the limited edition is $80.00 exclusive to the Bioware Store. Comparing them: the content appears to be the same (same number of pages), while the limited edition comes with different cover art, a slip jacket, and three blue prints for the Tempest.
Personally, I think the cover on limited edition is much nicer and the slip cover and blueprints do add a little value, but I'm having trouble justifying the over $50.00 (with shipping) price difference. Am I missing something? Or is it purely a markup based on it being produced in limited numbers with little difference in actual content between them?
Standard disclaimer: Things are worth what people are willing to pay, spend your money how you want, you wouldn't give them two cents for it, etc., etc. I just want to make sure I'm not missing some information that would affect my assessment of the options.

I prefer the normal hardcover: Over the Art Book in the Limited Edition: I probably would have rather had something like this though: In terms of missing out on stuff, it looks to be just a deluxe "datapad" slipcase, portfolio including three blueprints of the Tempest exploration vessel and a redemption code for a digital copy of the regular edition of The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The slipcase looks a bit naf to be honest, I'd just roll the standard version from Amazon ( which is on sale for $25 at the moment too hombre)

Nah, most often limited editions are very similar. They cost more because, well, limited volume makes things more expensive to produce. As is the case here, they threw in a couple changes to make it desirable, but the desirability is mostly due to its exclusivity, not added tangible value.
