I was looking at the latest updates in the PHOF on prestaciouschallenges when something caught my eye: the N7 challenges. Given the launch of ME:A next month, I have been actually pondering lately what can I try to accomplish in ME3MP before that? And, lo and behold, there was my answer: I'll try to finish these... As I am a scrub, I don't think I'll be able to do it on Platinum (there are some characters with which I never played before and some which I never took beyond silver). I am going to start with Silver and work my way to Gold. Also, one more clarification (for those of you don't know me) I'm not doing this for the title (exactly as for the BOTB). I only care about the challenges and if I am able to pass them. The most important part for me in gaming is the trip, not the destination. So, wish me luck (I am going to need it) and I'll keep you posted on how's it going. Of course, any suggestion from the veterans of the game is more than welcome... P.S. I would like to say a big Thank you! to Prestacious and Smehur. Your work of love in maintaining that site is extraordinary, only comparable to the one that's being done here. I would have loved to see the same amount of dedication from Bioware, but I suppose it's too much to ask. |

I know he's one of the most powerful characters in the game, but he gives me a wrong vibe. Honestly, I'd have loved instead a Salarian Sentinel, but BW decided differently. A funny Banshee, I don't know how she got there:  P.S. But I love the Crusader... |

I would have loved to see the same amount of dedication from Bioware, but I suppose it's too much to ask. well said Doc, second the sentiment fully. and while i'm by no means an active participant (being scrub and all) even for me the Themed Challenges since its inception has been (and still is) a major source for added entertainment value in my ME3MP experience. the work team behind it put in is astonishing, the thought and effort put into coming up with those challenges, and the stories around them. if there's a lore to ME3MP for me it's them. and the new challenges website simply lovin it  anyways, regarding the N7 Series just like yourslef i'm inching my way through them in the lead up to 3.21 launch. i'll be simply ecstatic if by some miracle somehow i manage to get to N7 but time ain't on my side also considering my skill ceiling as well availability of consumables. i've completed and submitted N1 tier gold, done N2.1 and loved it for obvious reasons but than i got PTSD after a flurry of w10/w11/not enough medals/ragequitw1 failuers on N2.2. and N2.3. N3.1 was very therapeutic (i'm now panicking i'm gonna run out of Asari stress-relief challenges real quick that way) but then i had to go pugging again to build up consumables a little. |

For a reason I can't explain I don't like the Paladin. I know he's one of the most powerful characters in the game, but he gives me a wrong vibe. Honestly, I'd have loved instead a Salarian Sentinel, but BW decided differently. Do try switching to melee style. Paladin easily falls to snap freeze addiction, but his niche is slap diplomacy. The freeze paladin is actually the only character which can freeze phantoms solid (with the ice shield), a truly spirit lifting experience. A funny Banshee, I don't know how she got there: Banshees like table dancing, the rails of the castle is their favorite place:   Attachments:

I suppose there is a karmic balance because Phaeston, though I love to roleplay with it, is imo far from ideal for a solo (unless you play a fat turian soldier right?)... I am going to start with Silver and work my way to Gold. Doc pls, what's a "Silver"? Go for gold and finish Ariake before Clyde . Go! Thank you for the vote of confidence, it's really appreciated, but I know my limits. Silver is, for me at least, the best place to test things and to get used to characters. For example, I've never used the BF3 soldier and never took the VolDept beyond silver. And that's just off the top of my head. That is why I find this series fun, because it forces me to go outside my comfort zone. But I've got a slow learning curve and I've got to take that into account... |

Lay Down The Lawson (Silver) 34:48 - DocSteelyConditions: Full Extraction on Firebase Goddess vs Collector, earn 3 personal gold medals Character: Vanilla Human Female Sentinel Weapons: M12-Locust and M6-Carnifex (both) Pizza Delivery - Devices - Escort The HSent is a powerhouse, but I hate the map, plus I lost a lot of time kiting on w6 - of course the last device was in the Great Hall, but thank God on the table... The first attempt was even worse (43:21) because I had devices on w3 and w10.  The Locust is one example of gun that was nerfed from ME2, almost as badly as the one that will follow; I only used it twice for this run. |

Why are you surprised when you see dancing Banshee? She was an Asari once remember? My sweet blue dreams just ruined... Luckily, not every asari turns to a Banshee in the end. If only the Reapers weren't a group of such incapable dipshits then they'd have realized that if they made their creations aesthetically pleasing, they'd have won the war without a single casualty.  Promise a great body and amazing sex, 99% of the population would pay for it. |
