Have you tried to check the HD for possible problems? If not, try the chkdsk command as described here. Depending on the size and speed of your HD, it may take quite some time to complete. If this weren't such a new installation of Windows, I'd suggest cleaning up the registry. This is somewhat controversial as there are people claiming that this does not help much, and I don't have a deep enough understanding of Windows to disprove that opinion, but I personally just feel better when everything's clean and tidy. Piriform's ccleaner is available in a free version if you would like to try. |

Don't know of it finished. I fell asleep at 1am and when I randomly woke up at 3am, there was a blue screen telling me that my computer had been turned off improperly. going back to sleep. I think there is a two word Varric quote that fits the situation. If you got any blue screen minidumps, you can browse them and see the actual error message with this tool. It's just a zipped exe file, doesn't install anything on your PC and can be manually deleted once you no longer need it. Let me know if you find anything. |

I wasn't suggesting that you break your warranty... just maybe that you might be hitting a point (after 5 days) where you maybe should be considering using that warranty. @upupaway95 Sorry, tone through text is lost without enough smileys to break it up. I was just listing all the things I'd done, not implying you were suggesting I'd break warranty. It's true, I also think I've reached the point, but Gileadan is asking for more-- if I send in my computer, this has been my expereince with Warranty Computer Repair. 1. It disappears for a month where they do a list of Fixes without actually looking at it. 2. I pick it up. 3. I soon find out it's still broken. 4. I send it back. They actually spend time fixing it the second time. Total time gone: 2 months. So, if one more day of fiddling with it could fix it, it's worth it to me compared to having it gone two months. |

Oh, first present I got all week! On the bright side, nine out of ten problems have the same bug check code, 0x0000139. At least it's not a variety of problems running rampant on your systems. I checked a few help pages and a wiki - this code indicates that there are problems with the Windows OS itself, possibly caused by faulty installations or deinstallations of software leading to problematic registry entries. Since the sfc /scannow thought everything was peachy, I'd recommend getting the free CCleaner software I mentioned above. Let it run over your registry and fix errors a few times until it stops finding new ones. Then reboot and see if that was any help. |

Maybe I'll just play ME2 as fast as possible to finish it, wipe the computer clean, and use some sort of ME2 import save from that website to play ME3.

It's pretty rare for it to not find anything to delete anyway, since many installations or even Windows upgrades just don't tidy up properly. See if it runs stable now. Or should I be truthful? Thing is, her father shouldn't have done what he did. He should be held up as a cautionary tale.
And I have a feeling that this decision is actually the thing that will choose whether they attempt to retake their homeworld or colonize someplace else.
If they'd just picked a new world when it began, they'd already be halfway through all this.
For better or worse, I'm telling the Admirals the truth. Auntie said we should when it all started.
And then I picked the Paragon dialogue and my thoughts were irrelevant. Oh well. Did tell everyone web it was an option not to bother with the war though.

Somehow, Kal'Reegar's final line, "I'll work on that ma'am." is one of my favorite lines in the trilogy. I know it's cheesy but Adam Baldwin's delivery is so spot on, it perfectly fits his character, the modest badass. Also love Shepard's persuasion speech to the admirals, the renegade one is the better one in this case though, it really sticks their backwards political BS attitude to them. IIRC, you can still at least tell Han'Gerrel about the evidence after the trial, though he is probably the most liekly to sweep it under the rug for his own agenda. |
