How pissed would you be if...

Most Bioware games I can remember have some kind of menage-a-trois confrontation between you and both LI's that you're stringing along. One way or the other, you leave that showdown unable to proceed with both.

I think it would be more interesting and original if you were able to take steps to keep them from finding out about each other. Clandestine sneaky behaviour in order to progress both relationships, fully acknowledging to yourself that you're being a bastard. If you select your squad to keep the pair of them apart on all ground missions, never have them both in the same meetings on the Tempest, tell each of them in private that you forbid them from referring to your relationship with other crewmates for command reasons etc, one never finds out about the other.

I'd actually like to have this feature in the game, I think it could be quite fun.

I want the other LI to walk on me when I'm banging the other one and then join in after a second of awkward silence. Like in porn.
Or wait, no, I want both FIs (fling interests) to be angry about Ryder being unfaithful and Ryder throwing a fit over them not accepting his polyamorous demiboy identity.

Good idea, especially if they then hit the gossip mill and your associates proceed to take the piss mercilessly.

I'm all for it, although based on what they said some love interest won't mind that much if you have another relationship going on.

 Beside the fact that I disagree with that, it depends on how it's handled. It's one thing if the characters know about it and are fine. It's stupid if they're magically unaware of what's going on.

Nah, characters in Andromeda will be submissive to Ryder. Just pick the right dialogue option and you will be ok. Although I'd love to be wrong.

Depends on the characters involved - I don't think an Asari (especially Mrs. "I hate social conventions and love adventure!" Peebee) would be squicked by a threesome

Someone like Ashley the xenophobic christian prude Williams might (yes, I know some people like Ashley, but I certainly don't - sure she was more interesting than Kaidan, but on the other hand: Soldiers grow on trees, biotics do not - so she's not my VS!) hate you for "betraying her" (even if you haven't yet really done anything more than say kiss!)

Some might even actively encourage you (and why not, there's people out there that have open relationships or who are bi-sexual and sometimes need a partner of another sex despite being in a relationship) and then there's people who might give it a shot despite not usually being open minded about such a thing (if you love somebody enough you shouldn't IMHO try to imprison the one you love, especially if he or she has other ideas - go along if you can, if you can't let them try and talk about it later, but stop trying to make relationships into a prison (many do this with marriage...and if you are a man you are quite unfortunate because you will most likely lose (financially) in a divorce!))

ps: I would love a stable threesome or an open relationship! It's not natural that everybody is into monogamy as if they were all raised by the fucking Catholic Church! Especially among other races (who's to say that among them there's not a more unbalanced ration of males to females - say 70/30 or more extreme? In such cultures/races monogamy would be the dumbest fucking idea ever, they would probably laug at you for suggesting it!)

I prefer the romance conflict banter where you pick one LI. Always worked fine. SWTOR way, where you could just delay the banters with the LI2 till the LI1 is done, and then dump the LI1 is fine. The way used in BG2 mods where you can interrupt and restart the romance at any time, if you do not have another active one is also fine
