i hate it so much omg. you know everyone's watching you and wanting you to hurry up, and it just makes the pressure worse. Never feel this way. You are always doing the team a favor by helping them after they were synch killed, out of gel (or too much of a dumbass to actually use a gel). Everyone feels the pressure a little bit, but it's really not important whether you pull it off or not. I'd bet every single player has been in this spot and not pulled it off before, so no worries, there's always the next match. Personally, I feel guilty if I'm pugging and get synch killed, knowing that is game over a decent percentage of the time. I could never criticize a player for taking their time to try, and anyone who does is not worth your time. They can always leave if they want. Reminds me of a story from last year. I was playing on a very new account with an HA / Predator combo and only had 2 gels ofc. Gold / Reaper / Reactor, I used one in wave 6 during the objective, in wave 9 I went down, and had one of those funky camera angles where you couldn't see anything around you. I knew my teammates were close by, so I gambled they would revive me before I got stomped on; I gambled wrong. Considering they were newer players who didn't kick my N7 30ish character with a predator and no consumables, I felt pretty bad about the situation, especially as I had proven out as the primary damage dealer in our group. I knew it would take awhile for them to complete the wave, so I flipped over to the TV for a couple minutes, when I looked back, the only player left was the least experienced player of all with a lone Banshee remaining. Suffice to say he tried, but his AJA / Locust with cryo 1 rounds wasn't doing much to the banshee. I almost turned on my mic to tell them they should consider spamming reave on it till it died, but I didn't. After about 10 minutes the Banshee provided some Banshee lovin and the match was over. This example is to illustrate how stupid it would be for me to turn on my mic and berate another player for 'taking too long' to carry me thru the wave.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Tell that to Tecdet (and other pugs) He tells you how to play in a very insolent tone while he's sucking dirt. One of my least favorite players, uh, ever. I am always pleased to blow his score out of the water, then leave. And I always tell him to STFU when he decides to get preachy
