So I was thinking the other day, "What would a hanar EVA suit look like?"
We know that they use the drell for a large portion of manual labor that they are "unable" to perform themselves, but they must have developed their own spacesuits, ships, orbital stations, etc. prior to uplifting the drell. Not to mention the centuries, millenia even, of social development they've have gone through prior to achieving spaceflight.
So what the hell... why did they suddenly abandon whatever means they used to build stuff once the drell came to Kahje?
There's a lot to ponder here, but let's start with the spacesuits. I scoured the various ME wikis but haven't found a suitable answer. What does everyone else think? What would they look like? I'm picturing little domed vehicles with mechanical arms around it (since their own arms are so weak). Granted, in zero-G that wouldn't really matter, but I think versatility would trump in this case. Being able to go from zero-G to a hostile environment without changing suits is a huge bonus.

On holiday on Dantooine. This whole "vengeance on the Jedi" thing gets very tiring after a while.

I'd say something akin to the Tripods in the War of the Worlds remake, scaled down to the size of a Hanar.

Well the Hanar are aquatic (their world is 90% water) so no doubt most of the infrastructure of their world is underwater. It'd probably be fascinating to see their underwater cities, shame we probably won't get a chance to. As to any land, there's probably a single continent or a bunch of small islands. On these islands are likely the Prothean ruins they worship. We know the Protheans had a direct hand in their uplifting by teaching them language. Given hanar in normal g open air environments use levitation packs and mass effect fields they're probably pretty adept at building such devices for construction purposes as well. So I'm thinking their tools are less mechanical and probably more esoteric. Though the wiki does mention "robo-miners" for resource extraction. masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Hanar

It would be really weird but interesting to see at the same time... they seem like they wouldn't need one.. well considering they can float in an earth gravity zone..
