Just while we’re reminiscing, I remember back in the early days when I asked the question ‘what are everyone’s personal kinks’ and GeneralXIV came with a full on 10 page dossier of everything she was into. And then you could practically hear the keyboards tapping away across the world as everyone in the thread was trying to google what half of them were Ah fun times.

I never make any claims about being normal. Because that would be a lie. Also, describing it as a dossier might be a small exaggeration. I prefer to think of it as a lengthy list rather than a collection of documents. It makes me feel more ordinary and less of a weird person. I should have probably included definitions and examples and that might have made it easier on everyone... but that would have made it a dossier, which means I would be weird. But, because it was only a list, Im not weird *tries to look convincing*

How shitty is your diet? I mostly eat grains, meat, add some dairy in the form of cheese and chocolate milk, as well as mild to moderate amount of junk food. A close friend of mine is insisting that I improve this with fruits and veggies.
Also how do you know/make sure your not turning someone into a rebound partner? I'm attractive/interested in a guy, but I don't want to turn him into a rebound. He doesn't deserve that. At the start of my break up I was tempted to start a relationship with him, but refrained out of respect for him. But the more time has gone on and the more time we've spent together, the more attracted I am to him. And this guy is the same guy who is insisting I improve my diet.

A close friend of mine is insisting that I improve this with fruits and veggies. Due to health issues I have to maintain a disgustingly healthy diet 24/7, sadly this means I cannot cook and eat 90% of what I want to eat and cook. Only gluten-free food, almost no white sugar, nearly no spices at all, red meat only every now and then, I have to take great care not to eat too much organic fats or fruit acid, no milk sugar of course, nothing that is known to make you gassy (onions, peas) and most importantly I must not eat any processed food. Also no tomatoes. This means basically all ready meals, sweets, pastry, sodas and processed foods are off the table. I can't even eat pasta. And as a weight lifter I eat a little more than the average person, which means I spend a lot of time cooking the same 5 meals over and over and over again, and I grew tired of them in the first week when I started the diet. I gave the diet the middle finger for just two days and it took me two weeks to recover from the aftermath. But I am not losing any weight and I am even making progress at lifting so the diet does not starve me. But nobody ever said that life was easy, right? No idea. I barely understand the concept of interpersonal relationships and the deeper mechanics of said concept are utterly incomprehensible for me.

Just take it slow or play it by ear, don't try to force a relationship. I'm doubtful the "rebound" thing is a constant, but it does happen. Think about what it is you like about him and if they were always things you appreciated or have you just started noticing them since your break-up. Did he ever cross your mind before the break-up or did you know him while you were with your ex?

If it’s who I think it is he’s a decent guy so I hope whatever decision you make is the best one for the both of you. Other than that I have no opinion I can offer, I personally think it’s something you ultimately have to figure out deep inside yourself if you can.

How have you been? Well if she’s been playing with some of those kinks of hers she’s probably spent half the time in A & E Hey! We play safe! How shitty is your diet? I mostly eat grains, meat, add some dairy in the form of cheese and chocolate milk, as well as mild to moderate amount of junk food. But the more time has gone on and the more time we've spent together, the more attracted I am to him. And this guy is the same guy who is insisting I improve my diet. My diet is fine, I think? Im a vegetarian, but I make all of my food from scratch. Pizza, bread, everything. I believe that the increase in obesity, diabetes and cancer is partially the fault of processed foods and manufacturers that place chemicals in foods to decrease costs and increase profits. After all, we do live in a world where you can buy foods that are only a small percentage of what you hope they will be So I tried to avoid all of it by making things myself. Personally, I think its nicer, but eh. I am underweight, but Im pretty sure thats just me. I do eat some sugar though, like cookies, chocolate and cake. I guess thats my only downfall from what would otherwise be a very healthy diet I cant really give an answer about rebounding, because Ive only dated 3 women in my life (one being my fiancee) so I dont have much experience I only really know about rebounding from How I Met Your Mother, I think. Im not sure I understand the idea though. It makes no sense. If you like someone, try to make it work?

So, without getting too political (I do not want to face the wrath of the moderators ). Would you ever have a long-term romantic relationship with someone with who you do not share the same political view? I wouldn't mind myself (except if they are a bigoted jerk of either side of the spectrum), and I didn't think too much about it until a friend of mine said I was crazy for thinking so .

Married 23 years and we very much tend to cancel each other votes. Except when he forgets there is an election and I do not remind him (like the last run off).
Do you have loyalty to one brand of product, and if so, what is it?

Would you ever have a long-term romantic relationship with someone with who you do not share the same political view? It depends on how much our views would clash and whether or not we can find common ground somewhere. Equally important is to respect each others opinions.

Nope, that would be utterly impossible. I can't and don't even want to be friends with people who are on the opposite side of the political spectrum. Politics is very serious business, many of political decision have a severe and direct impact on my life, my surroundings, my future and the people I like and love - be it the general security situation of the country, taxes, health care, immigration laws etc. People with the opposite political ideas and agendas are basically an enemy of my way of life, my ideology, ideals and my idea of my future. I have no reason to support or spend my time with people like that.

I wouldn't mind myself (except if they are a bigoted jerk of either side of the spectrum), and I didn't think too much about it until a friend of mine said I was crazy for thinking so . Honestly...to me, yes it matters. I try to maintain a Centerist point of view and feel that a balanced system of socialism and capitalism is the best way to go. Things like healthcare, education, prisons, police departments, fire departments, hospitals, road maintenance etc, should not be privatized and there should always be public parks and venues available, free of charge. I'm also a humanist and feel that a government is responsible for the welfare of all it's citizens and not just the ones with deep pockets, of a certain ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation etc, and that the people, not their ideologies and bank accounts, come first. The public should always have the right to own land and a business, also to have access to ways to further themselves and make a profit but not at the expense of others and should be held accountable for any damage their business does, whether it's to its customers, workers, the community or the environment. Socialism was designed to see to the needs of even the weakest and poorest of society, and capitalism was designed so that small business could get ahead through quality products and responsible management. The minute big corporations started putting smaller businesses out of work or started buying them up and reducing product quality is when capitalism started to fail. When these corporations started putting the profits of their shareholders ahead of being held accountable for damages, is when the government started to fail. Investment brokerages, banks, religious institutions, charities, media outlets, ...etc, have pretty well screwed everything up, and many of those who hold government positions have allowed it to happen. So, if a person's political leanings bend in the direction of a party whose only goal is to turn a profit and further some sort of supremacy agenda, without considering the damage it's policies are doing to society and the environment, then I really have no use for them as a romantic interest and I'm sure they would see it the same way, because I can be quite a temperamental, disagreeable, opinionated bitch who they'd have one hell of a time trying to contend with. *shrug* Quite frankly, I'm too damn tired to be in a relationship with someone I'd be constantly having arguments with and a relationship like that would end up hurting us both.

I wouldn't rule it out completely because what their views are and how they self-identify doesn't tell the whole story. There are people who have different views than I do because their values are drastically different than mine, and then there are those who actually share the same or similar values but have simply come to different conclusions in what they support politically. I can (potentially) live with the latter and maintain a respectful relationship. I do have a friendship with someone where this is the case. If it's the former, though? No, that would be a disaster. And yes, I would vastly prefer someone ideologically closer to myself and minimize the potential for conflict altogether.

I will say when I see stuff like this: It makes me just about throw up in the back of my mouth.

Are you with him to get back at/compensate for/inspire jealousy from/as emotional release for your ex? If so, he's a rebound. If no, he's not. Rebound is all about your mentality. 2.) Very shitty. I try to stick to meat and greens, but I cheat all the time with sandwiches and protein bars, with some fruit in the morning (nutritionist's recommendation). I should probably eliminate the sandwiches and protein bars, but what else would I just grab and eat?

I wouldn't mind myself (except if they are a bigoted jerk of either side of the spectrum), and I didn't think too much about it until a friend of mine said I was crazy for thinking so . Im in a long term relationship with someone I dont share the same political views with I mean, Im not sure what my political views are because I know nothing about politics and Im indecisive, but we are quite different people and we have different views. We have some of the same values, but some are different and even those that are the same can kinda manifest differently. There are a few things I would say no to, like... genocide, slavery, like the extreme things. A few other no-nos for me would be things like idk wanting to discriminate against me, but I think it's kinda hard for a lesbian to discriminate against another lesbian. It would make no sense. Dating other women generally takes care or those. Other than the extreme, nasty things though... nothing else matters? I cant really think of anything that matters to me. Im not really someone that cares about anything like this at all. With things like this, I take the view of: There are 8 billion people out there I disagree with. Some in small ways, some in large ones. I wont agree with anyone about everything, so I just have to accept that people are different. Unless they fulfil the wanting to harm others idea, nothing else really makes someone wrong, only different. And I think difference is good The world needs difference. I cant imagine limiting my friends or relationships to people who only think a certain way. Really, I cant imagine reading books or watching movies made by people who only think a certain way either. I just want to have friends and read books and watch movies tbh My fiancee and I dont often discuss political stuff. I dont really have any interest, but I actually enjoy hearing her views even though I dont often share of mine. Its a really interesting experience for me to listen to how someone else wants to change the world and I often find she makes more sense than me, but thats not surprizing

I don’t get this if I’m being honest. I can’t imagine just shutting a person off from day to day life or refusing to interact with them just because they share different political opinions to me. Some of the best people I’ve known have been worlds apart from me in terms of their political opinions.

For me it's simple, I don't care for the extreme bigoted fanatics on either the left or right but I can be friends with anyone I consider reasonable. They certainly don't have to agree with me on everything like a lap dog and as long as there's respect and they're genuinely a decent person then it's all good. After all, while I'm center right on some issues, I have friends and family who are center left that I love and respect.

After all, while I'm center right on some issues, I have friends and family who're center left that I love and respect. Yeah absolutely, there are people who live by ideologies that I would consider so abhorrent that any reasonable relationship of any kind would be completely unworkable no matter how nice they were with me. That being said I’ve honestly never met such a person in real life to the best of my knowledge, to me they are a statistical anomaly so I didn’t factor them into my original statement. For everybody else though, I just can’t see it being an issue. Maybe I just don’t care about politics enough but if someone was to get into a heated discussion with me about something like immigration, once it’s done it’s done, I really don’t care anymore. No need to brand them an enemy or stick their picture on my dart board after deleting them off Facebook. Unless someone told me they can’t stand Rayman. That would be crossing a line that could never be uncrossed ever again
