New Chapter, New Story, New Galaxy, new music.
A few motifs sprinkled here and there when making callbacks (i.e. the N7 logo comes into view) however would be appropriate.

i don't know about anyone else here, but the soundtrack from the trilogy was the icing on the cake for me, it perfectly captured the universe and the feelings of the players and i can only hope that Andromeda can keep to that same theme, songs like "Suicide Mission" and "Vigil" come to mind, and even the ambient music from the presidium was perfect. looking forward to what Andromeda has to offer for us.

I'd really like them to keep Uncharted Worlds, or a remix of it. Even the name of the track is very appropriate for what we are doing in Andromeda. The advantage of using that track is, unlike Vigil its not been used in connection to any characters that we are leaving behind. Vigil is still a wonderful track that i wouldn't mind seeing used, i just think its harder to fit in.

I really do want to hear "Vigil" as it's kind of like the Star Trek Theme for this series. Now maybe they can just have it pop up at some emotional moment. I am listening to it right now and it's sooo classic! Sorry it's got to be there even if there are new pieces! Both Vigil and the Galaxy Map themes are very important. The Galaxy Map totally needs a revival like I said in a previous post, because it's as much iconic as the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare theme. Vigil's theme can come up with another arrangment like I am the One, from Dragon Age Origins, was on Dragon Age Inquisition  |
