Familiar music in Andromeda?

I'd rather see new music for a new setting. Songs from the past games might not necessarily have the same feeling or match up with Andromeda's setting.

New music that is just as amazing and memorable as Vigil, Normandy Reborn, Suicide Mission and Leaving Earth.

voted fuck yeah, but I want the option to have a portable music player to access through the omni tool (music plays through head phones, helmet, or AI implant?) We can play whatever Mass Effect music we want while out in the open world.

We'll never get those cool ME1 synth tracks ever again. ;_;

I hope they keep the Galaxy Map music, albeit a new version of it. It's so iconic to Mass Effect that I would really miss not having it there to give me the chills when I open the map, like it did in ME1.

I'm super excited to see who is the new game composer and to listen the entire new OST, but you're absolutely right. The Galaxy Map is almost as iconic as the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare theme or the menu theme from Kingdom Hearts, Dearly Beloved

As much as I adore the Vigil theme and the majority of the old music, I'm hoping that they're able to give us something new that's just as memorable. My feeling is that they'll definitely give a few nods to the old OSTs through sampling, but that will likely be as far as they go.
When I watched the most recent ME:A trailer the score was the first thing that really stuck out to me. And even though that music probably won't make it to the new OST judging by old ME release trailers, I liked that you could feel the sense of hope and determination it conveyed (This was especially apparent to me when Alec was speaking at the beginning). I'm a huge fan of ME3's OST, but I couldn't shake the "this is the end" tone (despite the obvious) of it all and want to get as far away from that as possible.

Sure. Sometimes. But either in really relevant places or in utterly easter egg sorta things (jukebox) - not as regular as ME3 used older tracks.

I would love some more amazing Faunts music into the game. M4 Part II or Daz Malefitz were incredibly engaging and exciting!
