I cant help it. When it comes to playing an Rpg my way I want it all and as many customization options/abilities/different weapons to use as possible.
Most times this is connected to the ingame economy or currency of the game. In Witcher I cheated to get money since upgrading and customizing armor was so expensive. In Dragon age Inquisition I cheated by duplicating crafting materials like essence of perfection, runes and everything that colored or created an item.
Has anyone been guilty of this too like me? If you stumble upon something like this ingame or online with a guide on how to do it will you take part?
Us on Xbox n consoles cant mod so this is sometimes our only escape from ingame economys.

I always exploited horse racing in GTA San Andreas, but normally I'm too lazy to bother even if there's an obvious loophole in the game's 'economics'.

Probably, I exploited the hell out of the DAI Descent bug and I have no regrets. I'm not going to farm rabbits for hours or spam War Table missions just for a game currency.

Hell yeah. Once I found out about the item dupe glitch in Inquisition, I exploited the hell out of it and I'll do it for Andromeda just like I exploited the armor glitch in ME1.

It depends on the exploit and the level of difficulty of the games. The ME trilogy I found fun enough and easy enough to not be looking for exploits. In DA:O I used crafting to gain quick buck, in DA2 I just spammed so many elfroot potions I didn't even need any other ones. In DA:I there was a skill that gave a different status effect than the description, I don't remember the details, but you can say that I built a character around this.
As for multiplayer, everything is fair game unless it is specifically forbidden to use. Will probably build a strategy around the most broken ones.

I tell myself that I won't, but I will.
I forgot about the space monkey paragon points glitch in ME1 and then accidentally triggered it in my latest playthrough. Without even pausing to think about it I abused the shit out of that glitch til I had 100% paragon.
No regrets (even though I think I might have robbed myself of a free charm point by crossing 50% paragon and 75% paragon in one go).

Not when I'm playing the game for the first time. First time through I play the game without any exploits or other cheats. On New Game Plus anything goes.

I can honestly say that I've never used a game glitch in order to get credits/resources/paragon/renegade points, or whatever else people use them for. However, since I have the PC version of the ME trilogy, I do sometimes use Gibbed to give myself resources in ME:2, rather than spend time planet scanning. And in FO4, I use a MOD to give myself all the resources I need, because I've got better things to do than go around collecting 100 coffee cups, just so I can make a Turret.

of course i'll use it. i'd be stupid not to use it. im a worthless console peasant so wont have the chance to do that though. its annoying how these game companies force you to grind for a thousand hours to unlock everything. had to missile glitch to unlock everything in the previous game but that was boring, would have loved to use a simple hack like the pc players do. but i shall remain a console peasant.

Fuck no. I did this when I started playing ME3MP on PC again so I didn't have to spend another 600 hours unlocking and maxing everything, and it was one of the most profoundly boring experiences I've had while gaming.

I don't really care about the progress to actually obtaining currency and gear, the latter having an exception if there's a meaningful plot-related reason to exist (I never use the PPR in ME3 SP until getting Javik). If I can exploit the system to get it faster, I'll always do it.
