They're too busy "polishing" the animations to show that right now I bet. I bet they'll just get it done to rush out the door by the release date, in fact. The marketing got put on hold indefinitely due to the amount of backlash on the facial animations and movement polish....or at least that's my suspicion. I don't think they want to put anything out until it's damn near close to gold so nothing is misrepresented. The ridiculousness of the ME3 backlash is ultimately to blame for the lack of marketing. But if this game is good, it'll grow in sales similar to ME1 once the word gets out. You'd be wrong because a series of gameplay videos and other stuff starts at the end of this week and they just released new screens that look pretty good.

Skip the character creator. They probably want to remain consistent with the Ryders they are showing anyway. I'd like to see continuous combat with cover being utilized, another showing of the menus (specifically with profile switching and how that works), a bit of the Tempest layout, and maybe a conversation with one of the alien squad members. But really, just anything new at this point is welcome. Here's your Tempest layout. There are analysis vids as well. Why do I feel like there is going to be a kind of throw back to ME2 when it comes to mining planets with the Nomad?

Well it's back along with planet scanning and probing and a lot more open worldesque RPG elements. (Thank God) ME is finally becoming an actual RPG again instead of the storybook shooter we got in ME3

Well it's back along with planet scanning and probing and a lot more open worldesque RPG elements. (Thank God) ME is finally becoming an actual RPG again instead of the storybook shooter we got in ME3 And this really will be its saving grace if the story makes you go "ah well" like in ME2 (if you are looking for an intricate 3-act-structure plot that is!) If it's better than DA:I even if it's just a little then it's already a good game. Won't mean I wont end up cursing about it for whatever reason, cuz I want it to be more than good enough, but you're starting to get the sense that the basics are there for a game that plays well just as you're playing it and not just a linear campaign experience that's only as good as its prescripted segments. That said, please have a satisfying campaign MEA! And please let the villain be someone I care about for whatever reason. Not sympathetically, just enough that I wanna get him because he's bad and I can feel how bad he is unlike Corypheus who was just... there. Also this just in from Master Shinobi: Are we really gonna see a series of 15-minute long gameplay videos until launch? I doubt it. They may have changed plans so we get a series of shorter videos, but I could be wrong.

Right but I meant earlier as in the beginning of the month. It's the middle of the month already. Unless we just get a ton of marketing over the next month (which would be awesome!), I think the reviews will do more to bring in sales. That's probably the case anyways because many people are cautiously optimistic and there aren't any preorder bonues that don't already come with the deluxe edition.

If you're buying the pc version and don't care for being a scumbag in MP those preorders can just be unlocked with a save editor that people will probably figure out real quick (they can probably just reverse engineer the save editor for DA:I that's probably on Nexusmods somewhere).
Little tangent: If you look up Dragon Age Inquisition on Nexusmods, like ME3 it's already impressive how much people have made for it. I really hope, despite playing MEA on PS4 at first that it ends up having as impressive a modding scene as ME3 because boy did that change my enjoyment of ME3 to a whole nother degree.

To be honest I would be fine with anything they show us as long as it's longer than five minutes and we get new info or even just more in depth info. I thought by now I'd be distancing myself to avoid spoilers but I still feel I don't really know enough. I'd like to know a bit more about crafting, fighting, abilities, dialogue wheel, and who is romancable. Any or all of these and I will be super happy. Hoping and praying they go on a media frenzy in March.

I haven't seen this at all, but I would like to see other vehicles moving around. By that I mean I do not want to be in the Nomad and have every other land vehicle parked conveniently. We see a few vehicles parked doing that game play segment before Ryder gets eaten by space bear, but I hope that's not just for decoration. I want props to be dynamic even if we can't control them.
Example would by driving through the desert on Elaaden had have some Krogan transport or patrol vehicles pass by every now and then. At ports, we would actually see shuttles and ships take off or land. And if we're sitting in orbit of a planet that has a population on it, we actually see ships/shuttles pass from inside the tempest.
I want to see all the little immersion details and mechanics. And in 4k. I trust the story and combat and missions are good.

I'm hoping we see some boob physics. NOW HEAR ME OUT I don't mind there being all kinds of different body types going on, but it's just my opinion that Bioware has started to forget about them biggins. From this picture we got some p nice jiggle potential going on. I for one hope I get to romance this Asari. Because boobs

That would be cool. In the nVidia gameplay we see a transport ship flying by Ryder on the cliff. Not sure if it's scripted though. But it would be cool if we're cruising around in the Nomad and see other vehicles driving around. I believe it's been confirmed you can see the planet you're next to it but I'm not sure about other ships. I know absolutely nothing about computer coding but it seems like that would be a lot of work to try and orchestrate. Maybe they'll have that around the nexus though! Just rewatched that vid. You're right! Having enemies or friendlies in land vehicles should still be in there like any other game with driving mechanics. There doesn't need to many vehicles, but if we're driving around on the Angara home world, I don't to be the only ones driving. Just a few every now or then. Thinking to the extent of the Mad Max game that came out for current gen. At the end of the day, I'm still hoping we can drive other vehicles/mechs if we steal them.

I also liked 3's ending once it was fleshed out more so there's that. I think this game will feel more complete in terms of story from beginning to end, but it might not set well with some people because it'll also be much less intense and complicated than the trilogy. Red Dead Redemption and Ocarina of Time are the only ones that stand out where you started with a new story and conclude that story within one game while leaving a lasting, epic impact. Witcher 3 would be up there for me since it was my first Witcher game, but it had so much lore and story built up already. The Last of Us comes close.

I'm still drawing comparisons to DA:I more than the trilogy in my head. BioWare changes not on a game-per-series-to-game basis but on a game-to-game basis and DA:I despite having 3.5 years under the developer's tools had obviously cut areas and a final mission that screamed "rushed". Even Gaider expressed that a lot of significant stuff was cut underway that made it hard to make the plot flow right after stitching the rest back together.
And, this has a high risk of coming with the open-world-esque design because while crit-path mission areas are important as well as highly-polished cinematics BioWare has a lot of open spaces and smaller cutscene moments to build too and sometimes they just have to cut really big parts that fans never get to even know about. ME3 had a lot about Javik before he was named Javik and before he was a DLC character but ending aside they made that plot work mostly well, but I believe there was a higher chance because it was such an on-rails experience most of the time, but ME:A is a big bite just like DA:I so where has it been cut up if that has happened?
DA:I had a shockingly sparse main story length I thought, and what was there wasn't always impressive. I actually think only two of the 5 main missions were worth it from a story POV because the rest was practically filler or just confusedly paced. I expect ME:A to be better, but exactly how much I'm not sure. I'm not expecting anything of ME2 or ME3's caliber in terms of highly scripted sequences or levels with long sub-climactic scenes. I'm expecting a fair bit fewer of those and more meandering around the various planets with those individaul substories while the main plot feels pretty simple in contrast.

I hope that it actually exists at this point, I stopped counting on real in-depth look at the game's gameplay systems For whatever reasons, the marketing departement decided nothing will be shown unless its 2-seconds cuts

We know the game has banter and we know there's a finite amount for each party combination. I don't want any of that spoiled.
I'd like to see the quest-design and flow though and I'd like to see one full dialogue segment show how the conversations work but given how they almost didn't use any of this for ME3's pre-launch marketing I'm not holding my breath that they spoil any of this either.
