I wouldn't have asked. Overload away! They have the largest AoE radius of all the Tech combos, stagger, and strip shields, surely the competant Biotics in your team can appreciate that. And with 3 of them and 1 of you, I don't think you'd be erasing any significant amount of Biotic Explosions. Welcome to the team! Well, tbh I was relating to game we both were participating.I was up for few more games with fellow forumite, but you alas bailed. Time to go heat up some Pineapple Papa Johns Pizza. GGs!

I hope that in MEA, biotic explosions are less prevalent and biotic powers can be used in combination without setting off explosions.
I kind of got bored with almost everything causing an explosion in me3.

Not enough pure control in ME3, so I'm hoping for more of it in MEA.

Whenever I read one of these threads I already begin to miss ME3MP. I should play it more often again. Just earlier tonight I was telling someone about that 20 minute Geth Prime "Boss Battle" on Rio. You know, the one with insane Shield Recharge and rapid fire Siege Pulse that would shield gate/health gate/down you in 0.3 seconds if you weren't in hard cover ready for it. You DID rebalance him... right?

You know, the one with insane Shield Recharge and rapid fire Siege Pulse that would shield gate/health gate/down you in 0.3 seconds if you weren't in hard cover ready for it. You DID rebalance him... right? Indeed I did, but I kind of miss the old version a bit. That was a fun game. The key in making the Prime really strong is making him immune to stun. As soon as you can stunlock focus him, he really can't do much. Now if I remember correctly they're a lot more stun resistant when they have the shields up, and really fragile to any force when those are down. So giving them high shields with perma regen was a key part of making them tough besides just being more force resistant. But it really comes down to the question on what map are you playing and what kits, in some situations the boss mods are doable and in others it can be near impossible. I like Rio because of all the stretched out space it has with some decent cover. Even tough that map is mostly hated for it's anti-roam and objective design, I like it for how different it is. I'll take another look at that boss mod and maybe even set up a game again. It's just that in all my excitement when I initially created it I was inviting everyone to try it and some people were just absolutely not ready for it, which didn't create a very pleasant experience for them. But still worth it. Yes, we'll do it again.

Haha, now if the "Even more stasis" could be overcharged to work on armoured or shielded targets then I'd be happy. But things like Biotic Aegis, Barrier destroying projectiles, pull holding enemies in place and using them to bowl over other enemies, breaking the environment and using pieces of debris to build defences or simply throw at your enemy, more mind trick powers like Dominate and AI Hacking, more creative use of telekinetic abilities beyond biotic explosion primers/detonators or only able to stagger protected targets, more melee biotic attacks like human adept biotic palm, etc. Interrupting enemy attacks, locking them down, incoming damage denial, confusion of who is enemy or ally, and other bits of trickery. I find that much more fun to play than pure damage. I'm hoping to see much more stuff like that.

There's a mod for ME3MP whhich enables ragdolls for some armored enemies (yes, you can statis and throw around brutes, banshees and dragoons) but unfortunately it tends to crash the game for clients if they don't have the mod installed. I think it works fine if everyone has it installed, so it is possible.
Besides, there's nothing more satisfying then smashing a brute with the krogan warlord and seeing it knocked down on the floor by the sheer force of your biotic hammer. Or make banshees fly across the screen, take your pick. They even have some animations for it. Not all of it, but brutes do get knocked down on the floor properly. It seems like most of the ragdoll animations were initially done, before they decided to make them immune to ragdolling. So sometimes the animation glitches out a bit but usually they're dead by then. If it's not a 200k armor boss brute, that is.

Yeah I'm happy with characters like the Fury who are designed to wreck everything by blowing it up or damage over time, just not for it to be the MO of most/all adepts.

Lol other people.
I kill the things. If they die faster, great. If they die really fast, we have a good team.
PuG play has made me a "selfish" player. Despite 15 revives in a match the other night, I was selfish because I clutched all of wave 8 after the Pyro Bomber brigade took them out like ducks in a gallery, according to Face Plant Numero Uno while he spectated.

It is little off topic, but do you want to know what makes me tick (Rage mode on)? When I defuse those devices and someone is standing near me and aggro all the cluster nades,a$$lazors and walking bombs at me. At that time,I wish could turn into electric impulse and travel to his keyboard.

If things die too fast then I find no satisfaction in that. There's no room for creativity or expression when you can destroy a wave in seconds. Of course there has to be a reasonable range of TTK catering to all playstyles, but overall I get more fun out of toying with the enemies and creating stylish ways of winning, hence the desire for more control and less faceroll dps. The lack of control or support in ME3MP meant that if you didn't build for dps then you were gimping yourself. For example if a kit had Pull, Throw and Stasis (hypothetical), it would have been trash tier because of the game's armour/health/shield system. Of course I'm not advocating a return to the broken overpowered control in ME1, however it would be nice to see more grey areas in terms of control powers being able to work on more types of enemy - whether through alternative "casting" modes, charging powers for increased intensity, debuffing enemy defences and so on. Make it require skill/planning for (example) being able to lockdown an atlas mech equivalent - maybe reducing its hitpoints also reduces its effective mass making it susceptible to your weaker biotic attacks, maybe an alternative power cast that drains more of your energy with a longer cooldown penalty, maybe setup a debuff with another power in combination partly reducing its effective mass or damaging any damping systems again allowing other (biotic or tech tbh) powers to affect it beyond only stagger. This would open up more creative and varied gameplay instead of all control powers being reduced to simple debuff or stagger on many enemies. With destructible environments, telekinetic powers should be able to reorganise the battlefield and limit the movement of enemies.
