Indeed, and he's actually holding the front grip! Amazing. Previously, characters would hold SMGs the same way as pistols, and it irked me. This is a cutscene, but hopefully it translates to gameplay too. Just in case it was unclear, that shot is from MP. There's some pretty interesting stuff in it, actually. The asari has a sword (we know you can change melee weapons in SP) and mask. Not sure why she has a mask if the krogan and salarian don't, and I don't know why they refuse to just wear helmets like they did in ME1. Liking her armour more then the ME3 asari outfit, though. We've got a generic human female who looks like she has Sara's default armour, a krogan, and salarian with rather intimidating armour and a Viper. Hopefully there are more than 2 salarian characters in MP this time. That salarian looks awesome. I wanted to post as much earlier, and never got around to it. I have no idea why they moved away from helmets for the salarians and asari after the original game. I thought that salarian helmets had a great design. Asari could be given a really interesting, swept-back design, as well. They know we abhor those damn masks, and they make no sense in terms of lore, so there must be some reason they keep using them. (Despite popular BSN belief, these guys aren't "lazy designers".) I think a small, silent army of us are eagerly awaiting the final result on those SMGs. I remember at least one conversation you and I had about this months ago. That Kassa Locust looks kind of huge, assuming it is a Locust. I know that the weapons were always a bit over-sized, anyway. I wonder if they just inflated the SMGs, slightly, and gave them the AR animations? Problem solved, sort of... I'd love a fully realized SMG animation, but even a partial fix like this would be preferable to the pistol-SMGs we've had for so long. Indeed there are some of us who would like to see those helmets -especially Salarian. First time I played ME1 and saw a helmeted salarian -I thought they were another race... had to do a mind check to realize otherwise. Only reason I can think of is as to why they keep using them is maybe doing with rigging of the bones in the heads of the species glitching out of the helmet.

I like DadRyder's jacket. I hope it's something our character can wear as well.
